This is my 2nd review in as many weeks. My advice is don’t pay for a diagnostic.check during any routine visits. They did the first one around March, found nothing, adding “all engine coola My advice is don’t pay for a diagnostic.check during any routine visits. They did the first one around March, found nothing, adding “all engine coolant reservoir hoses looked good” (on video) and yet a couple months later (after paying for a tow and another diagnostic check), I’m told 3 hoses leading in/out of the engine coolant reservoir failed and that would be $4,000. They also told me “there’s no way to tell if a hose is about to fail”. The 3 replacement hoses retail for less than $400. Visit #3; and another $200 diagnostic check, along with routine brake pads, indicate rotors are good at 70-80%. My car upon pickup had an ear-piercing squealing noise. After 2 days of this embarrassing noise, I contacted BMW and was told, “the noise is normal and could last 400-500 miles”. This noise was not normal! After a second and more assertive complaint, I was told to bring it in. Finally, I was told it was indeed the rotors. The rotors, that diagnostic review by their mechanic, they said was “good”! That’s 2 more days in the shop, no loaner, and inconvenience to our family for rides. $600 in worthless diagnostic checks, I expected either a call from a manager or a refund for worthless diagnostic check fees. Don’t waste your money and more importantly, your time. More
