Our recent interactions with this dealer have been so poor, that we will never return. Firstly, we had a salesman sell a car from under us after spending an entire day making a deal, which forced us to t poor, that we will never return. Then, we purchased a newer BMW x5 from another dealer, which whom had an in-house warranty that was covering our service bill. The car threw a code, I called the dealership and was under the impression I was speaking with someone in service. I make an appointment and ask several times if they had a loaner car and made it clear I needed one as I have kids, which i was told yes. I drove 40 minutes to the dealer to not only be told I didn't have an appointment or an advisor but also that they had no loaner vehicles. My name on my service history was someone i never even spoke to. Assuming I got lucky and a loaners had just come in, I got stuck with an x3 after their systems had issues with payment for other vehicles equivalentto mine. however, I was thankful to just get a loaner. Fast forward 4 days, I get a message stating my vehicle was ready for pick up. The receptionist that day didn't want to do her job, making me call BMW and the other dealership rather than take the other dealers information and send them the link for payment. Freehold bmw said they would do this with no questions asked. The dealer i purchased my car at could not get ahold of BMW AC to make things right, so we ALL had to wait until the next day, which is when all of the problems arose. 7:20AM I am instantly bombarded with chaos and stress. I end up calling the receptionist at BMW AC to which I am told "they do not accept checks and I am not allowed to keep the loaner another day. If the other dealer does not have another payment method, then I will have to foot the bill". I advised her that I am not doing that nor can I at this moment, to which I was, yet again, bombarded with chaos and lies. I called several local BMW dealers in our area to which all of those service departments said they take checks, so I was not understanding why this BMW AC was telling me otherwise thus lying to me as well as the dealer i purchased my car from. Hours of back and forth phone calls, attitude from managers and personnel at BMW AC, and me having to drive 30 minutes north, then 52 minutes south, then 40 minutes back north. I finally got my car back, unwashed and dirty. I will NEVER bring my business here ever the xxxx again. I should've walked out when the woman next to me was being informed her service paperwork was lost, let alone the my first interaction with this service department. The 2 stars are for Dom in service, even though he deserves 5 stars. This man gives 110% - running around finding and retrieving cars, and even kindly started both the loaner and mine so it wasn't hot for me. More
