February 25, 2023 we brought an Electric car from BMW of Atlantic City. During the purchasing process we told them there is No Sales Tax on electric cars. The salesmen David Hernandez told us that only Atlantic City. During the purchasing process we told them there is No Sales Tax on electric cars. The salesmen David Hernandez told us that only applies if you are the first owner of the car. March 7th Andy from BMW finance called us and told us that they made a mistake and that we would be getting a refund for $2,300 due to the car being fully electric. He told us we would get the check within a week. Two weeks went by and we told them the check never came and they said it still hasn’t come to their office and when it comes in they will overnight it to us. As the time we on they stopped answering our calls. April 15th we to BMW Atlantic City with our dad because they haven’t been answering our calls. They apologized and Dan Ventrice told us he couldn’t print the check but it should be in the mail Monday or Tuesday and he could overnight it. Wednesday, April 19th we called and Dan told us that they are sending the check to the finance company instead of to us like they promised due to us not purchasing the car in cash. After they have been giving us the run around for almost 2 months. We asked to talk to someone above Dan and he laughed and told us that “oh y’all don’t want to talk to her, she’s mean and nasty”. He wouldn’t even give us her name. He said she doesn’t take calls from customers and that he is the only person we could talk to. He was bragging about how they are a 9 billion dollar company but this isn't how a 9 billion dollar company should treat their customers. He said “this ain’t no mom and pop shop” They think this issue is small and it’s something we should just chalk up after we told them they shouldn’t be charging us sales tax. As an employee you should be able to maintain your composure and answer questions. We should be the people who are upset without and not feel like we are being fast talked and being spoken over by a frustrated sales rep. At this point it’s not even about the money but the unreturned calls, the ignorance and the fact that they won’t write up a new contract for the car with the real price before the overcharge. Because if the total price of the car was lowered, our monthly payments would have had been lowered as well. That’s a big deal. They are very unprofessional and scam-ish! We DO NOT recommend you purchase a car from them. Please tell everyone y’all know they are not to shop at BMW Atlantic City. More

I used the apps option to ask if the car was still available, after having been to the dealership & not finding the vehicle on the lot. The car ( a Honda Element) was still showing on the app, so I in available, after having been to the dealership & not finding the vehicle on the lot. The car ( a Honda Element) was still showing on the app, so I inquired about it’s availability. They sent me the same link to the vehicle I had already seen. No answer as to whether it was still available. I replied that I had seen the ad & been to the lot & not found the car there. I asked for a simple yes or no & they responded asking for my phone number. I advised them that I was only interested in the Element, not looking to have them try to sell me a different vehicle. They still pressed for my phone number without answering if the Element was still available. I advised them again that I had no interest in receiving a call if the car was not available. I was told that “it had been available, but someone was test driving it right now”. I’m not interested in high pressure from sales people. This dealership couldn’t just say,”sorry, that vehicle is sold”. They pushed for a phone number. Why? So they can try to sell me something other than what I was interested in? No thanks. I won’t be returning to this dealership. More
