"Some experience" I'm not a writer or blogger, but I felt strongly sharing this. I did my "due diligence" researching vehicles and reading what people wrote. But I wasn't looking forward talking to sales. I'm not particularly dumb, but was woefully aware of my ignorance as to the world of cars/sales. Curt Zakrzewski was my client advisor. Curt was very knowledgeable (expected), but his unassuming, not push or asserting mannerisms quickly relaxed me.I was able to ask same questions repeatedly and even those I was embarrassed to bring up. He always replied patiently, respectfully. Throughout the many test drives, in various weather conditions, he educated me, not only about the products but leasing, payment options, answering my "what ifs", giving pros and cons. Customer service like it used to be I began my buying experience with curiosity about the BMW brand because a few of my friends own them. I was not prepared to buy and visited Anchorage I began my buying experience with curiosity about the BMW brand because a few of my friends own them. I was not prepared to buy and visited Anchorage BMW in winter 2015. Jack showed me the BMW products and explained all the features and benefits of owning a BMW. He also took me on a test drive in and X model. The roads were icy and the BMW handled amazing at somewhat high speeds on the ice and never broke loose. I thanked Jack for his time and returned home. April 2016 I visited the dealership again to get a look at the BMW X5. Only spent a few minutes at the dealership and was treated well. Over the next month Anchorage BMW contacted me a few times to check my interest. I decided that an X5 was the vehicle for me but had not chosen a vehicle yet. The dealership has many used and new to choose from, so my friend and I drove 4 hours to Anchorage with my 2006 H2 Hummer and 2015 Ram 1500 to possibly trade-in. Jack cam to work on his day off and worked with me to find the right X5. We first looked at 35i models but I wanted more power. He then showed me a new 2015 X5 50i. Wow, what a cool vehicle. I fell in love with it immediately. Anchorage BMW gave me a fair trade on my vehicles and I drove home in my new X5 50i. Jack has since followed up with several phone calls to make sure I am completely satisfied. Customer service is difficult to come by in today's society. Most buying experiences are fair to poor. (Mostly poor) Anchorage BMW has customer service as it should be. They care about customer satisfaction because they obviously believe that good customer service brings people back to buy new cars over and over. Happy customers also tell their friends and business associates. Word of mouth recommendations cannot be replaced by any other form of advertising.
