I have owned my 2011 X5 almost a month now. The experience of ownership and driving a BMW has only been enhanced through the efforts of Daniels BMW and my Client Advisor, Dick Hughes. When I first experience of ownership and driving a BMW has only been enhanced through the efforts of Daniels BMW and my Client Advisor, Dick Hughes. When I first made contact with Daniels via the BMW USA website, Dick answered all my questions and even extended an invitation to the BMW Ultimate Driving Event on June 26. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend. If I had, I would have earned a $1000 Bonus Certificate good towards the purchase of my X5. My bad! When I did make it down in early July, my wife and I took a test drive with Dick, then we sat down and ordered an X5 xDrive35D with all the options we wanted. And even without the bonus, Daniels gave us a great price. The whole process went smoothly. Everything from financing to delivery in late August was handled promptly and professionally by Dick Hughes. When we took delivery, our X5 was waiting out in front of the BMW Center. After we did the necessary paperwork, Dick took us out to the car and did a thorough orientation on the features and operation of the X5. I was glad that he spent the extra amount of time he did, rather than leaving us to wade through the 300-page manual. A few days later, Dick followed up with a call to see how things were going. I told him the X5 was awesome and I was interested in ordering a couple accessories - a cargo mat and a sun visor. He took care of everything again. When I went down to Daniels to pick up the accessories, he had my X5 washed (it was dirty from it's first road trip to the Finger Lakes) and then brought me in to the Parts Department to pick up my order. In closing, I can't say enough about Daniels BMW and Dick Hughes. They really go above and beyond the norm when it comes to customer satisfaction. They are professional, friendly and a pleasure to do business with. They make buying a BMW the ultimate experience. More
This was my first time buying a BMW and several aspects of the experience stood out that obliged me to select straight 5's for my review. The quality and cleanliness of the facility, from the parking of the experience stood out that obliged me to select straight 5's for my review. The quality and cleanliness of the facility, from the parking lot to the technician's shop was top notch. It made me feel confident that the people who will be servicing my car take pride in the job that they do and will treat my car as well as I would. Made for a great first impression. Since I arranged an appointment, I was greeted by name at the door by Mr. Hughes and the vehicle I was interested in was ready to go for a test drive. I was taken on the longest test drive I have ever embarked upon and encouraged by Mr. Hughes to (responsibly) explore the capabilities of the vehicle. To say I was not dissappointed would be a drastic understatement. Upon returning to the shop, we discussed my prosepective vehicle's bottom line and my trade-in. The negotiations were painless and satisfactory. A simple one-time back and forth put me where I wanted to be rather than going through the tug-of-war that has been ubiquitous at any other car dealer I've dealt with. After shaking hands and signing the paperwork, Mr. Hughes took me around and personally introduced me to the receptionist at the service counter and to the shop foreman. When my vehicle was ready, he took the time to sit with me and go over every feature in the car (and in BMWs, there are plenty!) even setting up my cell phone to work with the vehicle's Bluetooth system before I drove off of the lot. I felt very well taken care of and feel that Daniel's is the new standard by which I will judge all other dealers. Although unless my work takes me away from the area, I doubt I'll ever bother trying anybody else. More

He stayed 2 hours after the dealership closed to deliver our car (and he was completely thorough) and he did an excellent job of staying in touch after we took delivery of the car to address any questions or concerns we had. We've also been very pleased with our service adviser, Ethan. Our car recently had an unexpected need for service(!!!), and although no loaners were available (because we had to bring the car in on such short notice), he supplied us with a rental car free of charge! I would definitely buy another car from them and I will continue to use their service department. Would recommend. More
This is the second new BMW I purchased from Mark at Daniels BMW, and I was happy to return even though I now live near Delaware. Mark is pleasant, easy to work with, and offers a competitive deal. He Daniels BMW, and I was happy to return even though I now live near Delaware. Mark is pleasant, easy to work with, and offers a competitive deal. He completed nearly all of the paperwork before I arrived to pickup the car, so all I had to do was sign a few papers before he spent some time with me to learn about all the great features of my new car. With my first BMW purchased at Daniels, I found that the service department was excellent, as well. I highly recommend this dealer! More

Mark knows his product and did a great job orienting his to the new car's features. More
This is my 3rd BMW, including two M's. I keep on coming back because of my sales person (Mesch). It's refreshing to do business with a well run shop and honest saleman. While I understand that they are mot back because of my sales person (Mesch). It's refreshing to do business with a well run shop and honest saleman. While I understand that they are motivated by profit, they don't seem to be "penny wise, pound foolish." I'm never worried that they will bait and switch me or give me the run-around for an extra couple of bucks, they care about the long term relationship. Guess what? if I'm getting a BMW for my next car, it will be at Daniels. More

Your car is always washed before return, courtesy inspections are done on every visit and they keep you informed of your car's status. Too bad more dealers (of any make) can't figure out their attention to detail and quality strategy. More
I dropped my X5 on 5/2 (Wednesday) for services 1) check left brake light and taillight 2) check transmission issues 3) program new key. When I dropped the car I spoke with my adviser and explained all the left brake light and taillight 2) check transmission issues 3) program new key. When I dropped the car I spoke with my adviser and explained all the issues. Eric was very friendly and was very professional. I thought my car will be serviced the same day but I did not get a response, so I waited for next day by 1 PM and still no call. When I called to check I was told my adviser went on vacation and they are not sure who is handling my car, they took my name and info so that Service Manager will call me. I got call from Service Manager (Joe) that they are looking at my car. After an hour or so I got another call that they did not find any problem with brake light or taillight and the only think they suggest is to replace the housing or something similar at a cost of some $350. I asked about the transmission issue and the Service Manager indicated nothing is wrong. I asked if they programmed the second key and he said “I am sure they did because I see it list on service order”. I told the Service Manager that I will stop the following day (Friday) so I can show the Tech what I experience with transmission when driving and he told me that should not be a problem, however I changed my mind and I decided to pick the car on Thursday. When I went to pick up the keys and pay, the lady at customer service asked for my name but could not find the paper work, as she was trying to call the service manager she remembered that I have no paper work and that my keys were inside an envelope. I was kind of surprised that I have no paper and I don’t have to pay for anything such as checking the light, issues with transmission and programming a new key. There should be at least an hour or more of service charge. I took my keys and went to my car, when I attempted to try the new key it did not work. I started to think that they did not check my car for anything and they completely forgot about it. They might have forgotten since the adviser went on vacation and the papers for it were misplaced. The Service Manager told me that they need to replace the hosing for the rear light at a cost of $350 while it was just a bulb issue, because I went to auto zone and purchased 2 bulbs for $7 which I installed on my own and everything was working. I understand that no one is perfect and that mistakes such as misplacing service papers can happen, but in this situation all the manager needed to do was tell me the papers were misplaced and if they can have it for another day...I would have been more than happy to leave it for another day. I purchased my X5 early in the year but from another dealership, maybe they did not like that, but I doubt that is the issue. In conclusion I was expecting more from this dealership after all this is BMW. Also my brother who has 5 series was kind of surprised when I explained to him what happened. We both have the same service adviser and he indicated that he is the best there. I don’t blame the adviser, he just wanted to go on his vacation and we all can relate to that. However, I expected more from the manager. Maybe the manager was telling me what his Tech told him. I am not going to say that I don’t recommend this dealer to others after all they have good reviews, but always be careful. More
