Beware of Deceptive Practices at BMW Alexandria Service Center. My recent experience at BMW Alexandria Service Center was deeply disappointing, marked by their disregard for warranties and deceitful billin Center. My recent experience at BMW Alexandria Service Center was deeply disappointing, marked by their disregard for warranties and deceitful billing practices. Despite assurances of a 12-month warranty, when one of the wheels I purchased developed a fault, the service center conveniently ignored their commitment, citing obscure clauses. First they denied I purchased that wheel and then when I showed them the receipt, they cited technicalities that they can't replace it. This breach of trust reflects poorly on their integrity. Adding insult to injury, their billing practices are appalling. They charged me for their own incompetence during a follow-up visit, including an unexpected fee for a mechanic's test drive I never requested. The lack of transparency and accountability is concerning. Fellow BMW owners should be wary of the BMW Alexandria Service Center's deceptive practices and consider alternatives for their servicing needs. Because of breach of trust more than once, I have decided never to visit the Service Department of BMW Alexandria. More

I would never recommend this dealership. I had an appointment at 12pm to replace my windshield. He told me I have to pay the cost by myself and get reimbursement from my insurance company. What a customer service he has! BMW of Alexandria's service department was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I've had with BMW, which should live up to be the luxury brand that it markets itself to be. I dropped my car off on Fri one of the worst experiences I've had with BMW, which should live up to be the luxury brand that it markets itself to be. I dropped my car off on Friday to be seen for an iDrive system malfunction which ended up drowning the battery. I was promised a loaner, then upon arrival was told the loaner wasn't available and they refused to drive me back to my home as it was an extra 2 miles outside the radius of their shuttle. Upon being firm, they provided me with an "older loaner." I left my vehicle and did not hear back until Tuesday, upon reminding them to get back to me, at which point I received a video from the technician and a repair estimate totaling over $5,500. In the video, the technician contradicted himself and said that the repairs were not guaranteed to fix the issues. It was obvious that the technician and service managers did not listen to my issues. Furthermore, I was told that my engine mounts were completely blown out and had to be replaced at a cost of $3,500. I picked my car up immediately, and took it to BMW of Silver Spring. There, the issue was diagnosed immediately and fully covered under warranty. The technician there double checked the engine mounts and found them to be completely fine, as they only go out at around 100,000 miles (my car is at 55,000). I ended up only needing to replace my battery, as everything else was covered under my warranty, which BMW of Alexandria wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for. Their service department blatantly tried to rip me off for thousands of dollars, which is immoral and possibly illegal. This is not what should be expected from a BMW dealership and I recommend to avoid this place at all cost. More
