Very pleased! They were very gracious in their response to my needs! When I called them to tell them about my need of service for the restraint malfunction, was to They were very gracious in their response to my needs! When I called them to tell them about my need of service for the restraint malfunction, was told to bring my car in immediately. While on my way to the dealership I was called to tell me that my car needed to be serviced & I requested that they do it while I was there since I live a long distance from them, they very graciously consented Not only did they consent, but brought me back home so that I did not have to wait! They treated me as family!! Now that is old fashioned Service!! More

He is an excellent communicator who is transparent and very helpful. He followed up with me often and kept me informed of possible trades. Gill the service manager lacks common sense I hate to talk bad about anyone. I’m really a nice guy but Gill the service manager showed a complete lack of sense when it cam to diagnosing my cars I hate to talk bad about anyone. I’m really a nice guy but Gill the service manager showed a complete lack of sense when it cam to diagnosing my cars key fob problem. First it was dead batteries on both my key fobs at the same time, this time he diagnosed it as the tint that has been on my car for 2 and 1/2 years with no problem. How can something that has been working fine for over 2 years all the sudden affect my key fob range? Makes zero sense. When I got home from Albany, to my surprise my key fob was now working like it used to work, from 20 feet away, so Gill was wrong just like I said he was and tried to explain to him why he had no common sense. I’m thinking now that the drive from Albany charged up the battery in the key fob. I found something on line (the BMW technician should know this) it takes 30 hours of continuous driving to fully charge a key fob. Now I am trying to find an induction method to charge my key fobs since I’m not going to drive 30 hours anywhere. Melissa Thompson at the service desk is wonderful, she is as helpful as possible, but Gill needs to think things through for a minute before he tells a customer to remove $600 worth of ceramic tint that never caused a problem. He did offer me 10% off $900 worth of new key fobs that I don’t seem to need, so that is something. He also said he didn’t receive any of the 6 phone calls I made to him or any of the two emails I sent to him. He said it was because of an employee that was no longer there, but the receptionist is the same lady that has been there for the whole time I have been going to Albany BMW. I hate to speak I’ll of anyone, but I don’t believe I have ever had this much of a problem with anyone in the service industry. I guess after writing this it is best I find another place to get my two BMWs serviced for fear of retaliation. Of course after paying close to $300 for an oil change where I brought my oil and filter maybe I could do better or just change it my self. More
