This is my third BMW I have purchased from Mr. Steffen and his staff. I have always been treated as if this were my first car. James spent an hour after closing to make sure I could master the nuances of the newer model features and Frank followed up immediately by email and phone call the next day. This is a model for what a dealer should be. Anyone can sell cars, only a few build relationships that last beyond the sale. I am treated the same way when having routine service completed and I do not mind driving from Cleveland (where there are other BMW dealerships) to Akron when the atmosphere is this pleasant. From the people that answer the phones to the service technicians and support staff, there is no other dealership I would recommend. I will definitely be choosing Frank Steffen and his staff for my next BMW. More

Based on my recent transaction I would definitely recommend Frank and the team at Dave Walter BMW in Akron-the drive from Cleveland is not such a big deal considering the service that's waiting for customers at the other end. When a friend of mine found out that I was looking to purchase a car from Cain BMW he quickly recommended that I go speak to the sales staff at Dave Walter. The day prior to purchasing a vehicle at Cain, purchase a car from Cain BMW he quickly recommended that I go speak to the sales staff at Dave Walter. The day prior to purchasing a vehicle at Cain, I stopped at Dave Walter to see if there was anything I was interested in. It should be noted that this was around 8pm – the dealership had been closed for nearly two hours. James and Shujaat happened to be there that evening and came out to talk to me. After explaining my situation – I quickly found out that the sales team at Cain misrepresented the BMW Certified Benefits. From that point forward – I knew that I was going to cancel my deal with Cain and begin working with the team at Dave Walter. The sales team worked extremely had to find the vehicle that was perfect for me. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase and the team at Dave Walter. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a BMW. Thank you Shujaat, James, and the rest of the team at Dave Walter for the great experience! More

I've known Frank since he was at BMW Cleveland. Frank is a great guy and his team is very professional and fair. Frank brings a passion and energy to the dealership and is by far the most thoughtful manage a great guy and his team is very professional and fair. BMW had a pull-ahead program incentive and he knew I qualified. I had a lease that I was close to being over miles on and Frank's team put me in a good situation with a good car value. I dealt with almost all BMW dealerships in cleveland, Ganley the worst, to Bmw Cleveland which were nice but overpriced, and finally I went to Dave Walter BMW in Akron last year and i got my wife a new 5 Ganley the worst, to Bmw Cleveland which were nice but overpriced, and finally I went to Dave Walter BMW in Akron last year and i got my wife a new 5 series then when it was time for me to get a new car, I got an M6. we were treated with respect, the sales rep were very helpful and professional but the best man by far was the manager Frank Steffen. he worked hard to earn our business. we got treated so well that since then i refered multiple friends to buy a car from him. In short, Excellent Experiance. More
Misleading as to vehicle condition for an out of state sale. Vehicle missing advertised item. Condition misleading. He kicked me out of the dealer when he did not want to argue. I had the car in to change the headgasket. Before doing any work on the car i told Josh (service assistant) to keep me informed of anythin argue. I had the car in to change the headgasket. The cylinder heads were taken for the shop to be checked and turned out to be ok. Changed thermostat and water pump. Now before changing all this a mechanic would check to see how the cylinder wall looks. We got the car back with a tapping noise which they said it would go away...it didn't so my father opens the car up..and removes and replaces the piston....now while the piston was out the cyl. wall was scratched. Today i went back to Dave Walter BMW and i was kicked out by the Service Manager because he thinks that the scratches were not there when their mechanic was working on it. This is a joke...i drove a merely maybe 400 miles with the car after i left their dealer before my dad opened it up...so there is no way that the scratch was done after they changed the headgasket... Either way if I don't find a way to work this out with the Dave Walter Manager himself then I will be forced to go to the news and also sue the dealer. More
