He represented the vehicle he had for sale honestly and accepted a very fair price for it, as well as giving me a very good price for my trade. The entire tranaction could not have gone any better. I usually do not say anything if I have nothing nice to say, however, the floor mat issue (discussed below) was the last straw. When taking delivery of our new car, a 328i XDrive sedan, the salesman faile say, however, the floor mat issue (discussed below) was the last straw. When taking delivery of our new car, a 328i XDrive sedan, the salesman failed to set (or even offer to set) most of the options we purchased. For instance, the turn signal function (tap once and in blinks three times) was not set up. The doors automatically locking function (doors lock when transmission put in drive) was not set. The Bluetooth was not set up properly. I had the salesman to set the driver's seat memory button for my wife as well as obtaining a Sirius satellite channel list. The list goes on and on as to the premium package functions that were purchased, but neither explained, nor set up for us. Mr. Strecker wrote an e-mail attempting to vindicate himself, and apologizing, and I would have let the matter drop (though still dissatisfied). However, my wife told me later that the wrong floor mats were in the car. They were too large for the car. When we called the salesman to ask about them he said he would check on it and get back to us. Obviously, this was a chance for Mr. Strecker to make good on his prior lackluster performance. Of course a week went by and he never called us back. We had to call him. He then said to just come in and ask the service department, that he thought they handled it. The car is wonderful and everything you would expect from a BMW. The service was horrible and inexcusable. I have bought many new cars in my life; the "service" I received here is among the worst. Purchased a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) 2010 BMW 328i xDrive sedan from Dave Walter BMW in Akron Ohio. Drove up from Columbus (several times), and despite the long drive, it was worth it to come and do b xDrive sedan from Dave Walter BMW in Akron Ohio. Drove up from Columbus (several times), and despite the long drive, it was worth it to come and do business at this dealership. The sales/finance staff were friendly and supportive (not pushy). The CPO stand-alone dealership was very nice and their inventory of CPO vehicles are top notch. They also had several rare diesel vehicles (335d) which were very nice. Our particular car was immaculate inside and out and nicely equipped. Nothing like the Ultimate Driving Machine. I would highly recommend this dealership, especially for CPO vehicles. More
