No drop envelopes in the drop box which are necessary to drop the vehicle. No way I’m leaving my BMW on the side of the road overnight. Service advisor never called nor responded to texts. Phone call to service dept went to voicemail. Finally got in touch with service advisor who blamed the mechanic for not completing the paperwork, and indicated that vehicle was in the queue to be washed before delivery and she would expedite to have it ready in about an hour. She said she would send a video showing what the tech had found after repairs and would include the final cost, never received either. When I arrived the next day to pick up the car, the paperwork wasn’t ready and I had to wait another 1/2 hour. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly but they just seem tuned out and not much into doing their actual job. Considering the price of a BMW and the cost of service, I expected professional concise service and follow through. I routinely get better service and follow through at the Toyota dealer. As this is my first experience with owning a BMW, I was cautiously skeptical. The car is 9 years old with less than 60k miles and has been the worst vehicle I’ve ever owned. This car hasn’t run right longer than 3 months in the year I’ve owned it. It’s not reliable, It’s expensive to repair and the dealer service is lackluster. BMW has figured out how to sell expensive cars that don’t last or hold their resale value all while providing poor service….brilliant!! More
