Here we go another bad review for the worst service department in the whole US!! Took Mini Countryman in for service, made an appointment. Asked for a loaner. Went in on Monday, of course no loaner. The lady that took my appointment wrote it down as a drop off. They didnt have any Mini loaners left, but they had BMWs. Which they said they cant give to ppl from Mini. Had to reschedule for Tuesday. Confirm that we would get a loaner. We had to wait 2 hours!! They said it was a new loaner, so they had to prepare it. They gave us a BMW loaner!! lol This place is just terrible!! More
If you like the feeling of being immersed in boiling hot tar and then feathered South Motors Bmw is your solution. Now on to the review. Took my brand new car for transmission issues. A total of five times tar and then feathered South Motors Bmw is your solution. Now on to the review. Took my brand new car for transmission issues. A total of five times. 1st time the car sat there for days and no diagnosis. 2nd time same scenario along with rides with the tech that confirmed multiple issues on car and transmission, car stayed there for two weeks. Was told to come back and pick it up as it was ready. I informed them that I would do a drive along with the tech again to make sure that the issues were resolved, they weren't. Car was taken back in,sat there some more, was told that there was nothing they could do for me and was advised to take it up with Bmw directly. Bmw was astounded that the dealership was refusing to accept my car for service and told me that they would call and look into the matter personally. By this time the car started developing more issues, steering wheels started shaking,tpms sensors kept tripping on all four tires even after resetting and verifying air pressure was at factory settings. While under South motors care they damaged the paint by parking it somewhere where the entire car was covered in overspray, not to mention e trunk area paint started rusting. To this day e matter is still unresolved and in my entire car purchasing life I have never encountered the lack of professionalism not only from the sales staff, all the service advisors and managers, but the parts dept as well. If you want to go back in time and feel what drove the colonists to stage the Boston tea party revolt over taxation without representation, head over to South Motors Bmw and don't leave your tea cups at home. Customer Service is Horrible. Never leave messages because they never call back the clients. They don't care. After more than 10 calls, and 5+ hrs waiting time; there's still no way I can get a hold o because they never call back the clients. They don't care. They bend over backwards for their customers. I have two BMW's that I service with them and even though they are always very busy, they still find a way to give me personalized service. The worst dealership ever. I took my car their for service and my service advisor said my car will be ready in 24 hours. They end up keeping my car for almost two weeks. I had a full tank of gas, when i went back to South Motors BMW to pick up my brand new car it was on a empty tank of gas and the car was crashed. Found out the Teck took my car on a joy ride and crash it, scratch it. damage the inside, service engine light on and more. just think they wanted to give me back the car this way. My service advisor went to get the service manager, he came outside to take picture of the damages with his cell phone. Than he told my service advisor i have two options, take his business card and bring it back a week later and they will fix the damages or leave it their to be fixed???? what kind of dealership is this? I always go to this dealer because it is the closest to me. I took my car for service and they scratched it. So I was told that in order to get the car fixed I would have to speak to Dan Warren. The minute I looked at this guys face I knew that he was going to be difficult to deal with. His demeanor was very unfriendly and his tone was threatening to say the least. I have no idea how someone like this gets a customer service job. He totally lacks any form of tact or courtesy. He is the most arrogant customer service person I have dealt with. I DO NOT recommend this dealership for anything DO NOT buy a car there and DO NOT service your car there either. Listen to the other posts. They employ a bunch of 18 year old children that drive your car around there like it is a race track. They do not take care of your car and treat it like garbage. Also upper management is not doing a good job of managing the employees. Things are really out of control at this dealership. Employees walk around cursing. Poor upper management customer service, lousy service, and potential damage to your BMW is what you can expect from South Motors. More

I was told by the sevice manager that BMW's were built to be driven on the autobahn, and we're Brought in car for squeaky brakes and engine noise. I was told by the sevice manager that BMW's were built to be driven on the autobahn, and we're not designed specifically to be driven by safe drivers in Miami traffic. Therefore, the brake noise was caused by my safe driving and the issue did not qualify for repair under warranty. (whatever that means.....?!) I was told that the engine noise was normal, so I inquired why other cars in the pick up area were not making the same noise. I was told that my car was the cheapest model that BMW sells, therefore I should not expect it to sound like the other more expensive models in the service center. (FYI: I owned this car, which I purchased new, for two years before the noise occurred, and have always serviced the car on time and it is still under warranty.) I subsequently took the car for service elsewhere and was informed that the oil had not been changed as I had requested by South Motors, and this was the cause for the engine noise. FYI - Thanks to many bad experiences with South Motors, I have since traded my BMW in for a Mercedes with European Delivery. The level of respect and service we have received from the MB dealer is exceptional. Due to the rude, slow, and dishonest treatment by South Motors, our family will not purchase another BMW. More
The service department is the worst. On multiple occasions I have taken my car in for repairs only to be told that they could not even find the issues that I needed fixed. On the last visit, my eng occasions I have taken my car in for repairs only to be told that they could not even find the issues that I needed fixed. On the last visit, my engine was making abnormal noises, and the service adviser told me he could not hear them. When I picked up the car, the other service people could all hear the noise, but the service adviser was not in to hear it. The other people, including the service manager then proceeded to question me, first about when my warranty was up, then if I was the original owner and then if I was using the right type of gas (implying that I was too stupid to keep the car running properly and the noise was my fault). After I told them that I still had time on the warranty for the car I had bought there two years ago, and that I only used premium gas, they told me that the noise was normal. In the end none of the issues I had with the car were addressed by the staff. I will never buy another car from South Motors or any of their associated dealerships. More
