BMW service by far has been the worst experience I have encountered as owning a BMW that is worth 70k for about a year now. BMW on South Dixie Hwy has been the worst dealership that has exdisted in all of encountered as owning a BMW that is worth 70k for about a year now. BMW on South Dixie Hwy has been the worst dealership that has exdisted in all of FL. My car is due for service for an oil change it’s been past 3,000 miles due to every time I make an appointment there is no courtesy vehicle they only have rentals and the rental you have to pay an Ugrade charge because the other rentals that are courtesy are taken. I have a two month old and I work as well I have to make open space all the wanna do is use Lyft for everything. Every time you make an appointment they tell you to get on a waiting list for the courtesy vehicle when you get there they tell you first come first serve. The service manager is the most disgusting human being that exist I don’t understand where his manners are. My adviser has an excuse for everything. I’ve gone 5 or 6 times the last time I went before today I got there at 7 AM my husband was late to work again for 5th (that his boss doesn’t understand as well how is there never a courtesy car) there was TWO COURTSEY CARS AVALIABLE when I asked they are reserved so explain how is it first come first serve they have no response and recollection of that situation cameras speak for themselves and recorded lines as well. They don’t even have a waiting list for loaners they are a mess. Then the manager had the audacity to tell me that for oil changes they cannot give courtesy cars but my service contract says doesn’t say that anywhere!!! By far with all this being said I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER BMW IN MY LIFE & I will get what I need done in the vehicle and be going to back to Mercedes Benz I have never had an issue with the Mercedes family. Oh & to top it off my stroller is worth $1,000 I can’t leave it in the car because the technicians cannot keep there hands to themselves I have never encountered this with any vehicle i have had. You can’t leave anything in your own vehicle. More
If I could give 0 stars I would. They're awful and they inflate their prices. My car needed a coolant hose and a turbo coolant hose and the price I was qouted was approximately $6000 They're awful and they inflate their prices. My car needed a coolant hose and a turbo coolant hose and the price I was qouted was approximately $6000. I told my advisor no and I went to pick up my vehicle. Upon driving my vehicle home it ran hot due to them draining all the coolant out of the car. My car had never ran hot before. So as im stranded on the side of the Turnpike, I open my hood and my engine is exposed and a hose is missing. I called South motors immediately who told me to have the vehicle towed to them at which time I refused because now I dont trust them. So I had it towed home. Luckily I found a mechanic and he informed me that their was no coolant in my car, because they must've drained it. He said the only reason he think they would've done that is because they thought I was going to have them repair it. So my mechanic then went on to to do the necessary work on my car and he bought the parts from BMW South motors and they only cost $400 for both. So with my calculation the labor mustve been $5600. Therefore my conclusion is they're con artist looking to get money at any cost necessary. More
Issue: $10,000 Deposit to hold a car, with a 30-day return window if I decide not to proceed. I am out of state and informed the salesman that I would need to hold the vehicle till I can fly out. He d return window if I decide not to proceed. I am out of state and informed the salesman that I would need to hold the vehicle till I can fly out. He did great offering me pics and documents but when asked about process around holding the car, was first told that it would cost $5000. Then messages me that his manager advised that it will be $10,000. If I don’t proceed, my money would be tied up for 30-days. Standard hold amount $500-1000. This is insane. Just cheap tactics. More
After negotiating a deal, the general manager Marlo sold our car the same day, we were picking it up. I was a loyal client for many years and it was very disappointing to see how the management level has go our car the same day, we were picking it up. I ve purchased a certified pre-owned mini clubman last week from thIs dealer and I ve done the necessary paperwork and put down my deposit to purchase the vehicle and told the sales associate that I will week from thIs dealer and I ve done the necessary paperwork and put down my deposit to purchase the vehicle and told the sales associate that I will be there on Friday to finish the process. At the same time I signed a deal and deposited for the vehicle at one price, the dealer has advertised my car at a lower price on the internet thinking that I was not aware. So comes the day to close the deal. They ve told me the vehicle does not have navigation while I am under the assumption that I am purchasing a vehicle with a navigation system since it’s advertised as it has. So they ve cleverly stated that the only thing they can do for me is that they can give me the internet price as a discount for the missing navigation etc as a compensation. I was speechless at that point just wanted to get the car and leave. The vehicle has a number of issues such as; key has low battery; faded lamps; improperly cleaned inside. When I asked they said that can be taken cared of later… importantly the vehicle is purchased in cash which I was under the assumption that would go fairly quickly. The deal went on about 6 hours. By the time I came to the dealer between 3- 3:30 I left sometime in 8-30-9 pm. I lost all my joy by the time I left the dealer and left in state of disbelief. My sales person did everything he could I do not think it’s his fault because he kept going in and out of finance office which he got demands from. The last think that put me over the edge is that Apperantly the finance department forget to scan my drivers license and they have called me days later and asked if I could hold my of next to my face and take a picture and send it to them. I ve spoken to my counselor and many dealerships around they ve never heard of such a practice. Be very careful going into this dealer I ve gone through a nightmare here. There is a serious preferential treatment for certain clients while you can be treated like a 3rd world country citizen. More
I have been to south motors BMW multiple times to service my 750 LI and every time it’s something different, all of a sudden the oils change price went up over $80 dollars insane and no heads up to the cust my 750 LI and every time it’s something different, all of a sudden the oils change price went up over $80 dollars insane and no heads up to the customer, I asked for them to check a fuse and they said that’s $199 to check a fuse really. Went to the next BMW dealership and got my oil changed not at that ridiculous $225 dollar price, and they checked and put the fuse at no fee. Customer service goes a long way. More
After looking nationally, I leased a 2022 430i Convertable that had recently arrived. Due to the vehicle shortage I knew going in this car would go at a premium. Agreeing to $5k over MSRP is hard Convertable that had recently arrived. Due to the vehicle shortage I knew going in this car would go at a premium. Agreeing to $5k over MSRP is hard to swallow but having a professional experience by both Brian, Client Advisor and Martin, General Sales Manager whom were candid about the price and terms gave me confidence to move forward. I'm sure in the future when it comes down to getting another vehicle from South BMW the price, terms and conditions will be more favorable. Until then, I will enjoy the car. 5 Star experience!! More
