Purchased a vehicle since December 23rd, 2018 and over a month later I am still unable to receive my permanent plates. The temporary tags are expired and I was told by a Manager that if the cops give me a t month later I am still unable to receive my permanent plates. The temporary tags are expired and I was told by a Manager that if the cops give me a ticket for expired tags they will pay it. In addition to that they never returned my calls and always giving me the run around as to when I will be getting my plates. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. I myself have worked in the car sales industry for over 4 years and this is by far the worst I have ever seen. I am still waiting for my plates to this date I am yet to receive them. More

Drove an hour and a half to this dealership to test drive a vehicle. Though they said on the phone the vehicle was in good shape, in reality it was scratched and scuffed on almost every body panel (pictures a vehicle. Though they said on the phone the vehicle was in good shape, in reality it was scratched and scuffed on almost every body panel (pictures didn’t capture how rough it was). The undercarriage was rusty, and when I asked if they’d put it on a lift for me they said the “warehouse is too far away.” The salesman asked if I’d be trading my vehicle, and I told him it was possible I would and I’d had another dealer offer me $3000 for it. He essentially laughed at me and said that wasn’t possible. Then came the reason I left before moving any further forward: they refused to allow me to test drive the vehicle I was considering buying, until they ran a credit check on me. This was after I’d clearly explained I would be using my own credit union to finance the vehicle, and didn’t need them to finance it. When I asked to talk to the manager and explained I wasn’t interested in a soft hit to my credit score (let alone trusting the people in his dealership with my SSN), he told me they were very busy that day and he had to “qualify” me before he could offer a test drive. This was after they’d said they wanted to see my trade, but apparently weren’t willing to let me drive theirs. Either their car is on its last legs, or this is one of the shadiest dealerships around and this is their policy for all customers. Either way, my advice is to not waste your time and energy. I left and drove the hour and a half back home, very frustrated and wishing I’d never considered visiting Axis Motorcars. More
