Jacob Fratt happened to be working the first time I stopped by and I was so taken aback by his personality and no-nonsense knowledge of his product, that I intercepted (called) my wife, who was driving home with our two young children, and had her stop by as well. Jake not only answered our every question we asked, he even answered the ones we SHOULD have asked. My wife test-drove a RAV4 with Jake by her side to point out features and answer questions. Afterwards, Jake sat us down to look at some numbers. This was done at a table with all parties looking at the same screen, This is where Jake's knowledge of the buying process may have out-shined his knowledge as an experienced mechanic.. The facility was spotless and kid-friendly, making it easier to concentrate on what he was showing/explaining to us. .Afterwards, we thanked him for his time and explained that we wanted to test-drive other makes and models in the same category before making a decision. He wished us well and followed up a couple of days later asking how we were doing. Well, we never forgot that experience, and after test-driving several different models over a three-month period, we returned, looking for Jake. He was there and every bit as animated and personable as before and we wound up buying a RAV4. Toyota makes a superior product that sells itself, and Avondale Toyota is a top-notch facility in comparison, as we had experienced at least seven others all across the valley. The difference was Jake. His knowledge is vast and goes way beyond what he does now and comes from all that he has done in the past, and this guy is still young! We will be buying our next vehicle from Avondale Toyota and looking up Jake when we do! More
