My most recent car buying ordeal was a bit unexpected. My 22 year old car finally gave out on me once and for all and I decided I was going to bite the bullet and buy something new. After getting the runaround at another dealership, and with the help of my in-laws scouring the internet for me, I decided to take a trip down to Avondale Nissan to look at a 2014 Nissan Versa Note. We were put in contact with Bruce through Avondale Nissan's website and when I got down there Saturday afternoon he promptly got to work on getting me into a car. He was an absolute joy to work with. I didn't feel pressured into buying something I didn't want and he even worked with the finance department to get me a lower interest rate on my warranty when I discovered that my monthly payment was going to be a bit more than I had originally anticipated. I do a lot of driving for work so having everything worked out before the weekend was over had proved to be stressful. Bruce completely took the stress out of a stressful situation. Not only does Avondale Nissan have a loyal customer for life, so does Bruce Weiss. If you're in the market for a Nissan, I highly recommend you contact him to help get you into your next vehicle. My husband worked out a deal with Bruce Weiss on the phone. We travelled from Yuma, AZ to Avondale and met with Bruce. He came in to help us on his day off! Because of the normal haggling and price changing that we have normally encountered when buying vehicles, we hate buying cars. In fact, we were afraid that once we arrived at the dealership, the price would increase. Much to our surprise, Bruce was true to his word--the out the door price Bruce quoted over the phone was the price when we arrived at the dealership and met with Bruce. We were in and out with the car within 2 hours. There was no back and forth haggling with Bruce or his manager. This was the smoothest, easiest car buying experience ever. I called the service department to make an appointment to come in because of a concern with the rogue I am buying. The service rep made an appointment for me to come in at 12:30, and talk to Renee. Upon arriving, I was ignored upon entering,no acknowledgement at all. I was eventually asked by young man if I needed help. I informed him I had an appointment with Renee . ,and he told me Renee was at lunch! so I was given an appointment with a rep that was going to be at lunch? I am sorry but this is poor customer service. When I called to make the appointment the service rep asked me "How many miles I had on the rogue?" does that really matter? I was just in there in May for my oil change. apparently, the mechanics that changed my oil forgot to recalibrate the computer. I am driving down the freeway and a picture of a wrench appears on my dash panel, not knowing what this means, I am concerned . The excuse I was told was pretty lame. What if the mechanics had forgotten to tighten my lug nuts ,or forgotten to put oil in? these are suppose to be professionals. I am truly disappointed in this and every experience I have had at this dealership. I believe this treatment was racially motivated. I am sorry I did not get names. The lady that takes the cars back to be serviced was an exceptional employee.kudos to her. the mechanic that came out to help us at her request was also very cordial and helpful. This dealership seemed like a great choice, especially coming across so friendly and really stressed that they are no pressure salesmen. Me and my pregnant wife traded in our Xterra after having it for a couple years and decided to go with a more fuel efficient car like the one we ended up buying, which was the 2013 Nissan Sentra. We love our car and we love Nissan cars. But this place absolutely took advantage of us and we ended up paying way more then we should of and our salesman knew it and later called it a "loser deal" after it was all finalized. It was our first purchase of a new vehicle and now i know to do a little more research. It shouldn't be a such a sheisty situation where you feel the need to lie about what you can afford. This dealership did not treat us right and our salesman crossed the line in many instances. Which is sad cause he does have a lot of good reviews, but maybe that's cause he'll call you a bunch of times to make sure you write a good review for him. Thanks for taking advantage and then rubbing it in our face. More

I have spent the past 2 weeks calling every Nissan dealership in the Phoenix area and had to deal with much frustration of salesmen not providing me with accurate information I requested. On Thursday, June 20th, I had the good fortune to speak with Bruce Weiss at Avondale Nissan. He provided everything to me that I requested in a timely manner, followed up on everything and made sure that my daughter was treated fairly and properly. I live in Las Vegas and co-signed a vehicle for her so I was not present at the sale. In a world of deceptive people, Bruce is an honest man, but just as important a good salesman and person who made me feel comfortable that the experience was a pleasant one. I had the opportunity to purchase vehicles at any of the other dealerships, but they did not "earn" my business. I am happy with the entire experience and would recommend Bruce's services to others. Pedro in the Finance Department was a different story, however. If we had a choice we would definitely have dealt with different finance person. Pedro was offended when we told him we weren't interested in purchasing add-in warranties for the car and continued with the sales pitch even after being repeatedly asked to stop. He then proceeded to bring it up throughout the rest of the financing process. The car was ready and being cooled off when we arrived for our appointment and Louis was ready for our arrival keys in hand for the test drive. Once we had both driven the car and had decided to proceed with the purchase Louis walked us through the entire process as quickly as he could and had our car cleaned, fueled and detailed and it looked positively amazing for us to take delivery of. Once the process was complete Louis took another half-hour of his time to show us how to pair our cell phones with the blue-tooth hands free system and made sure we were comfortable with all of the cars features. Overall our experience was fantastic with the small exception of the issues with the finance manager, Pedro. The pricing was a little higher (about $1000) for the car but the location of the dealership and our desire to develop a relationship with a nearby dealer AND last but not least the dealers rating with Dealerrater.com definitely played a part in our decision to purchase the car from Avondale Nissan. More
Bruce was highly knowledgeable and really pleasure to work with. Fantastic sales man I have ever dealt with and the way he understands the customers’ needs is amazing.
