Avis cancelled my appointment to see the car - grrr I had an appointment to see a car for sale. I received a written confirmation. Then, at 9:00 Saturday morning I received a telephone call saying tha I had an appointment to see a car for sale. I received a written confirmation. Then, at 9:00 Saturday morning I received a telephone call saying that if I did not respond within three hours Avis would cancel my appointment. I was doing other things and didn't call back within three hours. Avis cancelled my appointment. I never saw the car. I bought the same model and year car at a better price elsewhere. More
