Total theft of consumers in hidden fees I went in to Autoworld kia to purchase a car on Saturday 17, 2018. The salesman gave me an attitude from the beginning after coming back from seeing another vehicle.. They tried to add $599 dealer fees to the advertising price, and there are no such thing. We even called and verified that prior to coming into their showroom. When we sat down and tried to get the cost of the vehicle the cost of the fees, the interest rates. Nothing was written down. We told the salesman we are putting down payment everything but $10,000 they came back with financing the whole amount at 6%. We questioned as to the high payments, the answer was "that's what it is" so we wanted proof, to see what they are looking at,because nothing was adding up. When we finally got a finance guy in front of us 45 min later he came in with an attitude and said he has 20 years experience and that's the number. so we started to look over the numbers and they were gonna run our CC for a deposit but not give us credit for it, and finance the whole car deal. Which means they were adding 5-6 thousand dollars to the price of the sale. So we told the finance manager that the down payment is wrong, and he kept redoing the down payment 3 different times until the number came out to be correct to what a loan calculator stated. When we finally agreed to the number of correct financing, and the correct amount we sat back at the salesman's desk. At that point the original salesman pawned us off on some young salesman not explaining anything. We sat around waiting for another 1/2 hr until the new sales kid came and told us that the price went up because the DMV registration fees were not added in the original time. We just wanted him to write the cost down and he would not. We asked what it was, he said 348 and we wrote it on the sales order ourselves. He took it away and whited the contract out, then came back that the price for DMV fees is only 227. Thats less than the first time! Finally after being there for 4 hrs trying to purchase a car, we were told we cannot take the car home, because they failed to set up the inspection during the hours their service guy who does NYS inspection was working. So we left there with no car and a huge down payment put down, and we were told no one could do an inspection on the car till Three days from now! The next morning we show up speak with a manager on duty Kendrick, very nice gentlemen. He tried to salvage the situation and got technician to come in, do an inspection on the car. When that was all set and taken care of I sit down and the interest rate was increased on me by .49%! it went from straight 6% to 6.49% overnight after they received my deposit! I asked why we were not told about this day before and the response i got was it was a "round ball park figure"! how is an interest rate a ball park figure? that is illegal to raise the rate up. I had no choice after wasting two days there to just sign off and agree to it. I believe that this dealership needs to be audited, for they are not truthful and very fraudulent. They lie about their advertising, they lie about registration costs, they lie about the interest rates. and overall they cheat their consumers. More

When I finally went in and spoke with the receptionist, I asked for a salesman. That took 20mins even though guys were looking right at me. I finally got some and told him what I need and he left me standing to find out if they had the car for another 20 mins. I will never go there again and I warned all about dealerships like this.
