I had the worst costumer service experience from one of their service employees. His name is Adrian. My Acura MDX went in for an oil consumption recall. When I got my car back less than 2 days later it see their service employees. His name is Adrian. My Acura MDX went in for an oil consumption recall. When I got my car back less than 2 days later it seemed fine. A day later, I am driving and the car lets out a loud bang noise and a lot of smoke and just shuts down. I call service and let them know, they promptly came and towed my car back to the dealer. The next day, they inform it that they placed a “defective” piston in my car and it will take them at least a week to fix it back up. I told them ok, as long as it can be fixed I was fine. About a week and a half later, I finally get my car back. Of course, I am extremely nervous after what happened and I don’t drive the car far or often. Two weeks later my car shuts down and I am tired of all these problems since the dealer took my car for a recall it’s been one thing after the other. I have had the car for three years and never had a problem with it. When the car shut down, I thought it could have been something from the recall because of what happened I felt the car would never be the same. I called the dealer to ask if they know any information regarding the car, such as anything they saw when they took the engine apart to fix it. They connect me with Adrain and he was extremely rude and said it’s probably just the battery since it’s not an Acura battery and that he is not my service manager so in other words stop calling him about my car. I called road side assistance and low and behold it wasn’t the battery. Their service department incompetence forgot to tighten the bolt on the cover of the battery so it got loose and the cover lifted and resulted in the battery losing connection. I didn’t need a new battery or a jump, they just tightened the bolt. Thanks for nothing, maybe Adrian needs to be in a different line of work. More

Another excellent experience This is my third MDX lease from Acura of Denville. Second time I had the pleasure of working with Pete. He is kind, efficient, respectful of time, and This is my third MDX lease from Acura of Denville. Second time I had the pleasure of working with Pete. He is kind, efficient, respectful of time, and knows the product line. Not many people can identify small year-to-year updates in a model! One of the nice things about Pete and this dealership is that they are focused on a building a long term relationship with their customers. I had reached out several months earlier to explore ending my current lease early for a RDX. Some dealers would have focused on an immediate sale, but Pete candidly explained that it would be an expensive proposition to do so. I appreciate that honesty. Pete kept me updated as options for early pull-ahead became available. Service department is also great. They are quick, efficient, and have always addressed any repairs on the first visit. More
