I bought a used vehicle on 9/19/24 from AutoNation Volkswagen Carlsbad. Before the sale, they agreed to fix an item on the vehicle (it’s documented). Now, they’re ignoring my requests to fix the docum Volkswagen Carlsbad. Before the sale, they agreed to fix an item on the vehicle (it’s documented). Now, they’re ignoring my requests to fix the documented issue. I’ve left messages with the sales representative, the Service Supervisor and the Service Manager. No response from the Service Supervisor or the Service Manager. I’m basically being ignored by AutoNation. I want this issue resolved to my satisfaction by AutoNation. I can let you know this has been a very bad experience - I wasn’t expecting this from an organization who prides itself on customer service. Definitely I will not return to or recommend AutoNation when it cannot address and fix a simple issue like this. More

I had a problem with another VW dealer's poor service regarding my key fob programming. I brought the car and fob to Autonation, and worked with Valentin who listened to my somewhat sad tale and was abl regarding my key fob programming. I brought the car and fob to Autonation, and worked with Valentin who listened to my somewhat sad tale and was able to rectify the problem for no charge. However, the point of this story is not just that Autonation fixed another dealer's mistake, but the customer service Valentin gave. He went above and beyond what a service manager should do. He made every effort to help do the right thing. I left that day very happy and relieved the problem was fixed. Thank you so much Valentin! More

This was the second time we’ve had a bad experience with this dealership. This repair was for a recall service. The dealership was unable to complete the work after 1 week. Communication was severely lackin this dealership. This repair was for a recall service. The dealership was unable to complete the work after 1 week. Communication was severely lacking. We ended up going to another dealership which completed the work in a few hours. We won’t be going back to this dealership unless an emergency situation forces us to do so. More
