I had been looking at mid size sedans for a few weeks. After test driving the usual Toyotas and Hondas I saw and ad on TV for the 2013 Subaru Impreza. I stopped by Bob Baker Subaru on a Friday at lunch time just to see how I fit and to see the style of the car close-up. I was met by Yong Shin who showed me all the Imprezas on the lot. As I jumped from car to car he was great at pointing out all the features. I was impressed by how large the back seat was. I have three teenage boys. I was really happy with his no pressure style and told him I would be back the next day to test drive one. When I showed up, he was there to greet me and asked me to pick a color. They did not have the color I wanted in an automatic on the lot. He then offed to take a test drive to their extended lot to look at all the colors. That was a huge help. After getting back to the dealer we quickly went thru paperwork. They gave me a fair trade-in price for my 20 year old Rodeo. Their first offer on the Impreza was great! It was much lower than two other Subaru dealers had quoted me with their internet discounts. That was it, except for the color. He told me to pick any color I wanted and they would have it there in three hours with a full tank of gas. Three hours later I picked up my brand new white Subaru Impreza. I finished off my financing paperwork with Nate Thompson. He was very friendly and professional and got me on my way in no time. After picking up my keys, Yong spent a half hour going over all the details of the car. He even synced my phone to the in car bluetooth system. Had a very pleasant experience buying a 2013 VW Jetta TDI or as i like to call it the: JEDI. Transaction was smooth, deal was fantastic and the sales guy (Yong Shin) was great to deal with. The test drive was great as I had just tested a Prius a few minutes prior. So when Yong suggested we try it on the same route as the Prius it was a delight because of a rather large hill which the JEDI destroyed. The Prius felt much lazier and struggling but the Jetta felt at home with the little turbo working hard and playing that wonderful whistling music to our sweet ears. SOLD! Yong delivered by giving me the price I wanted and the rest is history. I'm happy to report 17,000 miles later (yes, i drive a lot) the car still drives like new. More
