Lack of integrity (and false advertising) I scheduled my standard 60k-mile maintenance check online, where I was given a price of $55. I thought this was an excellent deal, and I assumed it w I scheduled my standard 60k-mile maintenance check online, where I was given a price of $55. I thought this was an excellent deal, and I assumed it was being offered to me because I bought my car from the same dealership a few years prior (you know - in the spirit of keeping your loyal customers happy and such). When I picked up my car after the maintenance check had been completed, I was handed a bill for $270. I showed the team proof of the $55 price that I had booked online, but Norman simply shrugged his shoulders and said “it was a mistake - that’s not our price.” I continued to object, asserting that even if it was a mistake by HIS team, I was still promised a certain price and he should honor it. He again shrugged me off and said “Not my fault - our IT team made a mistake - it happens all the time and I can’t honor that price.” I’m not sure when “it happens all the time” became a good excuse for dishonest business practices, but I will never be coming back to this dealership. Bobby was as helpful as he could be (I would give him 5 out of 5 stars - great guy), but it was ultimately Norman’s decision. Norman lacks basic integrity and business class. I will not be bringing either of my cars back for service, and even though I’ve thoroughly enjoyed both of our sales experiences, we will not be buying another car from them either. So, Norman basically allowed a $200 issue to cost his company tens of thousands in future revenue. But I’d bet he doesn’t think that’s his fault either. More
