I had a 9:00 am appointment. after waiting 20 minutes to even check my car in , I notified the technician, Tyler, that I had a non-negotiable meeting at 11:00 am. I could have dropped my car off then, but he assured me, the 6000 mile service would only take one hour. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour, then went to double check my car was at least almost done. My car had not even been looked at, in 2 hours. I had to leave immediately to make my meeting, and now I need to reschedule service. would it have been so hard to communicate that you were running two hours behind? I have no problem dropping my car off, or waiting for it in person. However, I need a clear timeline. It's an oil change, for god's sake. Tyler could have texted me at any time, or walked into the waiting room and given me a head's up. I could have left my car and made other arrangements. Such, awful, xxxxty, service. If the service was not already prepaid when I bought the car, I would never be back. after my "free" service is over, I will never spend another dime at your shop. More

I had been taking my car here for routine oil changes, and it was always a frustrating experience. Even when they said my car was ready, I’d end up waiting another 30+ minutes for them to bring it around. and it was always a frustrating experience. Even when they said my car was ready, I’d end up waiting another 30+ minutes for them to bring it around. Then came the real issue. Subaru sent me an extended warranty for my brakes due to known problems with some Ascents. My car had this exact issue. The dealership said they’d take care of it, but the parts were on backorder. I followed up five times over the next five months before they finally got the part in. I dropped my car off on a Monday. By Friday, the brake assembly had popped out and scraped my rim. I called and spoke to Joella, the Service Manager, who immediately dismissed the issue, claiming it wasn’t possible because “their system” would’ve caught it. We sent her a photo and explained it sounded like a jackhammer. She later claimed it was the exhaust manifold—which isn’t even near the brakes or tire. It was clear she lacked a basic understanding of car mechanics. I then took my vehicle to Orange Coast Subaru, and they were amazing. They told me to bring it in immediately, gave me a loaner, and handled everything with care and professionalism. I escalated the issue to Subaru of America, and after investigating, they confirmed it was a workmanship issue caused by this dealership. Subaru requested both dealerships work together to resolve it. Meanwhile, Nathan—the General Manager—never returned a single phone call from us or Orange Coast Subaru. Subaru of America couldn't even reach him. After two weeks of silence, we physically went to the dealership—twice—just to get him to talk to us. When we finally met with him, he tried to gaslight my husband by blaming the other dealership and claiming there was “a miscommunication.” Luckily, my husband is knowledgeable about cars and called him out. Only then did Nathan finally admit fault and agreed to pay the other dealership to fix our car. Bottom line: Be very careful with this place. I should’ve trusted my gut and stopped going, but it was the closest dealership. Don’t make the same mistake. More
I just purchased a 2025 Subaru Ascent and my experience from start to finish was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. First of all, the lobby is great because they have an area for kids and offer unlimited snacks. Fabio was the salesman that helped us. He went above and beyond to get me into my car. I originally came in for a used car, but after discussing my options, it made more sense financially to get a new one. My father who is going through chemo right now (and has very little patience) was with me and enjoyed talking with Fabio so much. Fabio has amazing people and customer service skills. He never once made me feel pressured into buying and put us completely at ease. My credit is not the best and he made sure to try every option to make it work with my budget. Fast forward to trying to get approved, Terrance was so incredibly patient. After only getting approved by one bank, he managed to negotiate with them to a payment I was comfortable with. At one point, I thought I was going to be leaving without a car, but he worked his magic and made it happen. After signing all our paperwork, Christy presented me with a super cute and thoughtful gift bag filled with so many little goodies. She also expressed their gratitude for purchasing a vehicle which I really appreciated. It’s the little things like this that truly make the buying experience so unique, refreshing and special. I can’t say enough good things about our sales person, Tate Dacumos. He took the time to get to know us, learn about our hobbies, and what features were important to us in a car. I really to not like the person I get stuck with every time I go there. I feel he is arrogant, there for just a paycheck and an “up sell”. I also feel that service here is way over priced…. There has to be a better way for seniors to care for their cars without spending an entire paycheck each time they are there, What happened to old fashioned customer service??? Go back to paper schedule for car maintenance plans, etc. p.s. I LOVED MY SALESMAN!!!! After that, everything went downhill. More
