They have a loose relationship with truth I was deceived about the characteristics of the CX5 I purchased in March 2014. It was not the car the salesman claimed it to be, and rode very rough. I was deceived about the characteristics of the CX5 I purchased in March 2014. It was not the car the salesman claimed it to be, and rode very rough. My neck was damaged. I traded for their minivan, Mazda5, and was told it had good crash test ratings, but had not been tested since 2010 (this was a 2015 model) because there had been no body changes since then. WRONG! I learned later that the body style changed in 2012 and the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety tested it. The results were abysmal and I am now at risk should this car be in an accident. In the sude impact test, THE ENTIRE SIDE CRUMPLES. It happened to me 5 years ago. The minivan I was in was hit at a higher rate of speed than crash tests are performed. The vehicle sustained only a dent. I had severe whiplash and 2 slipped disks in my neck. I made my disability needs crystal clear to them twice, and twice I was deceived. I have spent a total of $28,225. My car is worth $16,000 in a trade. Bob Baker Mazda offered to take the car back for $18,600. Not even close to being able to replace the car with a safe and comfortable one. A huge financial loss. I am disabled on low income and was taken advantage of. More

I was looking for a 2012 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring. I was a cash buyer and they were able to get me into a new 2013 CX-9 touring w/ Technology package for about $420.00 more than what I had budgeted for for a cash buyer and they were able to get me into a new 2013 CX-9 touring w/ Technology package for about $420.00 more than what I had budgeted for for the used vehicle. I told them what I wanted, they gave me an awesome price and had the car shipped from an affiliated dealer the next day. The price quoted was the price on the contract, no hassle. I would recommend they advertise more. After test driving the Honda CRV, Chevy Traverse, Ford Escape/Fusion and many more CUV's the Mazda was the clear choice, I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by Carlsbad and found a Mazda dealer as I was headed to San Diego to purchase the used vehicle that I had researched. I did not rate quality of work as I have yet to have any maintenance performed. More

Having dealt with two other dealerships before going to Bob Baker, I was NOT looking forward to dealing with the salesperson, but I was pleasantly surprised when Paul Galindo, Director of the Internet/Flee Bob Baker, I was NOT looking forward to dealing with the salesperson, but I was pleasantly surprised when Paul Galindo, Director of the Internet/Fleet Sales Department, treated me with the utmost respect and actually listened to my needs and wants in a used vehicle. The other dealerships (I won't name them) constantly interrupted me, didn't listen to what I wanted, and what really irked me was that they treated my significant other as if HE was the customer and not me. Paul did the exact opposite. If you want a no-nonsense sales experience, I highly recommend Bob Baker. More
