Came back the second day and Anontio tried again and helped us to understand the financial process. The buying process. Our choice was a brand new vehicle. Given great experience in the past, we chose the large option to cover everything from head to toe - give me the price. Next, the breakdown of charges, full price, and new monthly payment. Paperwork, done, in less than 10 minutes. A loss of 1 star only because their service department is so backed up and busy. Vehicles are all over the place with customers from cities miles and miles away. It does not look fun. More

Service department is a complete joke. I have bought 2 Jeep Cherokees, one from this dealership. My current vehicle has a recall that i didn´t know about until I tried to renew my DMV regi I have bought 2 Jeep Cherokees, one from this dealership. My current vehicle has a recall that i didn´t know about until I tried to renew my DMV registration. I found out that I can´t get it renewed until the recall issue is fixed. I called Autonation Carlsbad and was told to come in ant they could provide a form that I could use to get my tags. Nope, the person din´t know what she was talking about and I was informed I might have to wait 6 months, which doesn´t do me much good when my tags are about to expire. I have been promised call backs from supervisors on several occasions and not once have they followed through. Driving around with expired tags while my case with Chrysler Jeep is waiting to be heard. More

Awful Awful Awful. Do not take your vehicle here to get serviced. Our car has been with the dealer for over two weeks. We have been called on three separate occasion Do not take your vehicle here to get serviced. Our car has been with the dealer for over two weeks. We have been called on three separate occasions and falsely told our vehicle was ready. The first time, the dealership said they called us in error. The second time, they called back and said they drove the car and they didn't think it was ready. The third time, my husband drove the car and said the problem was worse than before and now unsafe for driving. The service advisor was about to send a vehicle unfit for the road back to my family knowing we would have two small children in the car. This is the absolute worse experience I have ever had....almost to the point where we are contemplating selling the car so we won't have to deal with such awful service. Oh and good luck calling and actually talking to someone! They rarely answer the phone, More

Best Buying Experience Ever! At my age I have bought a lot of vehicles, new and used. In the vast majority of cases, I have been treated as a sheep to be fleeced. I have had my share of four-square closes, T.O. men, and hard-ball sales managers. Then, even when I've bought the vehicle, the finance man has tried to shove add-ons down my throat. None of this happened at the AutoNation Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat dealership in Carlsbad. After speaking to a salesperson, Antonio, over the phone, I made an appointment to see the Wrangler I was interested in. Antonio was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. After looking at the Jeep I had seen online, I realized it wasn't a good fit for me. Antonio took my wife and me to a secondary storage lot where their overflow inventory sat. There we found the perfect vehicle for me. I decided to lease it. After some minor negotiation, Antonio wrote the deal up while my wife and I went to lunch. When we came back, the car had been cleaned and prepped for delivery. The finance man, Trevor, offered the add-ons but did it without pressure. I chose one. Before I left, the sales manager, Rick, came out to shake my hand and offered me his card, telling me that if I ever needed anything, not to hesitate giving him a call.
