Theft of parts I was called to pick up my 2011 ram 1500 after the dealership completed some work on the engine that was due to a manufacture defect. When I got in I was called to pick up my 2011 ram 1500 after the dealership completed some work on the engine that was due to a manufacture defect. When I got into my vehicle, I noticed the passenger seat was torn apart. I asked the service advisor what was going on with my seat. He advised me that they needed a part out of the seat for another customers vehicle and did not have the part in stock. So someone in the service dept. decided to remove (steal) the needed part from my vehicle without my knowledge. Then I was advised that they must have foregot to put my vehicle back together. I waited while the repair was completed to the seat which caused me to be late getting back to work. I was offered free oil changes for my trouble but will not be going back to that dealership to have any work done. More
Service Dept. is Worthless I bought my new car from this dealership in Oct. 2012, and have tried to bring it back when things go wrong with it and have been disappointed each an I bought my new car from this dealership in Oct. 2012, and have tried to bring it back when things go wrong with it and have been disappointed each and every time. First off they are condescending to me as a female car owner, thinking I should "just let the guys handle it". But when I explain a problem to them, I get the same answer when I come to pick up my car: "cannot duplicate the problem" and they tell me the car is fine, it was probably just a kink that was getting worked out...only to have the car do it to me the next time I drive it again. One such problem I took it to them twice, I took it to the other Carl Gregory Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler in Columbus once, both places said they "cannot duplicate the problem" finally I took it to the newly (at the time) opened Dodge dealership in Newnan, GA and they new what it was the moment the mechanic got in...it was a bad slave cylinder...kind of a key part to making the clutch, and therefore car, operate safely. The second issue I've brought to them is an intermittent cruise control. It has been in their shop 3 times in a week for this issue. I even did their homework for them, printing out other customers on the Dodge Forum talking about similar issues and what their mechanics did to try to fix the problem. They told me they sent up the problem to Chrysler Technical Support for further study/questioning...umm, yeah that's what they said about the slave cylinder issue too and I never heard back from them about that. They bounce me around from person to person when I call and this last time they sent me to the service managers line...great I would love to talk to him, however all I got was his voicemail. I left a message then had to hang up, so I didn't even get to talk to a person about the status of my vehicle, so I had to call back again, only to ask if I wanted to speak to the service manager again....they must have known he was out that day. How in the world can they be operating a successful business with people like that in service department. I highly recommend you either find another dealer in you area, or if you can't don't buy a jeep/dodge/Chrysler at all. More
