While I understand the reviewer is disappointed, the implication that we are somehow responsible for an unauthorized transaction on his card is way out of line. We process millions of dollars in credit card transactions over the course of a year and have never been accused of something so ridiculous. Whatever issue he claims to have had with his credit card had nothing to do with us! As far as the vehicle, our finance department literally spent hours working to secure a financing approval in the first place. Unfortunately, the reviewer did not have the credit qualifications to purchase the vehicle on his own which is why the lender required such a large down payment as well as a co-signer. He did produce multiple co-signers over the course of the week as we continued working to get him the best approval possible, all the while holding the van for him and turning away other customers. He is correct that we typically only hold vehicles for 2-3 days however we made an exception in effort to accommodate him. After holding the van for almost a week we still did not have a solid commitment from him that he would be completing the transaction so the decision was made to put the vehicle back up for sale. By the time he did finally confirm that he would be able to raise the funds required for the down payment we already had another customer in the showroom. While I do understand the reviewer is upset, I feel we provided him more than enough time to complete the transaction. We acted properly and professionally the entire time and went out of our way to provide him every opportunity to complete the transaction. Sincerely, Bill S., Dealer Principal

I was in contact 100% with the sales representative Cara and at no point I said I didn’t want the vehicle. I didn’t even ask for the interest rate because I was 100% sure I wanted the vehicle. I was never told there was only a 2-3 day hold with a deposit or else I would have pulled the trigger earlier. I also never accused the company of anything I’m only stating facts in the order they happened. I am truly disappointed a dealer as big as yours would be so blatantly disrespectful towards their customers who would potentially bring them more business and is explicitly say YES I WANT THE VEHICLE LET ME GET THE MONEY TODAY. Your sales manager admitted to making a judgment call and selling the vehicle from under us since there was someone else interested with cash. That is poor business practice and the reason for the 1 star review.

Every customer pays the same low price so we have no motivation to sell a vehicle to one customer over another. We held the vehicle for nearly a week and only received the message that the reviewer would be getting the money once we told him there was someone else looking at the vehicle. Obviously we never want to disappoint a potential customer but we also cannot hold vehicles indefinitely. We provided the reviewer more than enough time to complete the transaction and only put the vehicle back up for sale when we felt we could not wait any longer.
