So far so good! Purchased a car this past weekend for Auto Avenue. Made a few trips consecutively to the dealership. Truly appreciated the "no pressure" atmosphere Purchased a car this past weekend for Auto Avenue. Made a few trips consecutively to the dealership. Truly appreciated the "no pressure" atmosphere. I had narrowed down my search to 7 or 8 vehicles...this place has a HUGE selection of vehicles as well some really good prices. I spent nearly 2 hours walking the lot and looking at the vehicles I was interested in. Not once did I get interrupted and given a "sales pitch", only when I entered the building was I greeted and taken care of. In my opinion that is how it should be done. There are times when you just want to look. If you are truly interested and have done your homework (as you should prior to purchasing a car) then take a look around and then walk through the door. For me, I had narrowed it down to 3 or 4 vehicles I wanted to test drive and I was introduce to Mike and we were off and running. After purchasing the car I noticed minor issues (burnt light bulbs) that Mike and the service shop took care of immediately. Prior to leaving Mike said if there were any other issues to call or come back in and see him and if it was something within their power and ability to do, they would look at it. I have found a couple other issues that I did not see till I got the vehicle home and had a chance to really go through it. I plan to go back in and see Mike and the crew at Auto Avenues in the coming days, one to see what they can do about my finds (if anything) and the other to look at purchasing another vehicle for myself as the one I purchased was for my daughter. As for financing, that too was a "user friendly" process. I was going to write a check, however being Military and having out of state checks I wasn't going to be driving away that day with the vehicle. I would have to wait out the process for the check to clear. Totally understandable. I was offered the opportunity to finance which I was fine with, however I said I'd like to use my bank to finance and not the dealership. My past experiences with purchasing vehicles is the dealership would prefer you to go through them as someone is usually profiting somehow, somewhere, even if it's just a little. I was pleasantly surprised when Mark (finance) said "OK". Mike and Mark patiently waited, as I was not prepared with any pre-approved loan and needed to call the bank. 15-20 minutes later I was all set and the e-check was enroute. This was a good experience for me personally and have no worries about going through it all again. Chris More

Lowest price doesn't mean best deal I went to this dealership not only because they were local, but they also had the best internet price on the car i wanted. I paid 16.6k cash, finance I went to this dealership not only because they were local, but they also had the best internet price on the car i wanted. I paid 16.6k cash, finance manager Paul said he didn't have change and would mail me a check. Well it's been 3 months and no check has arrived, really you are going to stiff a local customer for $44? Also, I was told by the sales person that the dealership does not inspect their vehicles because it's "wholesale." At the time of purchase, I noticed the flange connecting to the muffler was worn, but it passed inspection so I didn't think much of it. 3 months later my car is in the shop to replace flange and muffler $1000 in the hole.Buyer beware lowest prices doesn't mean best deal. Terrible Experience Absolutely terrible experience. I was sold a car that could not pass inspection. I was told that the bank would not allow me to finance without a warranty which was completely false. It took three months of calling to actually get the refund for the warranty for the CORRECT AMOUT which was almost half the value of the car. Every time I called I was told whoever I needed to speak to was not in the office and they would get back to me which never happened. I had to het the warranty company involved to get them to refund the money even though it was cancelled in their system for months at that point. Even for car salesmen these people are pretty unprofessional and untrustworthy. Not sure how they are still in business. More
BUYER BEWARE - BRING A MECHANIC! Called to confirm a used vehicle was available for test drive before driving 3 hours (one way) to look at it. Scheduled an appointment for the next da Called to confirm a used vehicle was available for test drive before driving 3 hours (one way) to look at it. Scheduled an appointment for the next day, and was told they would make sure the vehicle was ready. We arrived on time for our appointment, and was told it would be a few minutes as the battery was dead (someone left an interior light on). We took a test drive in a rural-developed area for less han 10 minutes per the instructions provided by the salesman. We had already secured financing and just needed the bill of sale and a copy of the title. When I told the salesman what our interest rate was he said "we beat Credit Union rates all the time" and they knew we couldn't spend more than an hour in the office because of the commute time. I reluctantly agreed to have them see what rate they could get us. The finance guy came back and gave us the info on financing they could secure. He told me everything except the interest rate. When I asked what it was he said more than 3x's what we had already secured. NO THANKS! When I said no, he asked if my rate was definite, and when I said yes, he told me to "take our loan and pay it off with your loan". Again, NO THANKS! He was rude after that and asked if we wanted to put a 24 hour deposit down to hold it, to which we said yes. Later to find out at least one of the finance companies they tried for us, the vehicle didn't meet their financing standards, so they pulled and dinged our credit for no reason. We couldn't get information on how it worked buying in NJ and registering in PA, but they do that "all the time". We were told the title guy had already left and they would have to send us the title copy the next morning. They provided a bill of sale, which the lines on my copy didn't line up and my bank wouldn't accept. They had also added a $189 charge for window etching, of which no one talked to us about. I requested a new bill of sale removing this as I did not want it, and clear for the bank. It took 3 tries to get it correct (2nd time it wasn't signed). Took 3 tries to get a full copy of the title also. When we picked up the car the next day, we were told the info that we received in PA was not correct when purchasing in NJ, but they couldn't tell me the procedures the day before. When I asked if they would clean it up (not washed, sand in the engine compartment, etc), they said they are cleaned when they come in (but this one had been on the lot for at least 3 weeks per the salesman the day before). They washed the outside and sprayed tire shine all over the wheels but missed half of each tire (which ends up all over the car when you drive). It had 1/4 tank of gas and sand still in the engine compartment. On the way home an HID headlight went out, a front doorlock actuator malfunctioned, a trim piece that had been TAPED in place came loose, the car was pulling to the side on the highway, an engine noise appeared, and the headlight switch was intermittently working. To date we have fixed all of the above parts, and had to replace the blown front struts, a broken intake hose (thought to be the engine noise), tires all the way around (miss-matched and loosing air - AWD vehicle), and an alignment. The engine noise is still there and now thought to be a squeeling pulley. So less than 2 months into owning this car we have put over $2200 into it and we aren't done. The things we have had to fix should have been apparent if they had made any attempt to inspect the vehicle upon receiving it. I wouldn't buy from them again as we are too far away to have our trusted mechanic look it over, and their customer service is basically non-existent. They did end up replacing the battery because it was bad, that's the only reason we're giving 2 stars instead of 1. More
Terrible experience! Poor customer service! We started out with a great experience and then the horror show begins. We found the truck we wanted the sales person said it was available then too We started out with a great experience and then the horror show begins. We found the truck we wanted the sales person said it was available then took it for a test ride and we were convince to buy it and we sat down to fill out the paper work then IT begin its sale pending mystery shows up on the sales screen and were told it’s not for sale and if the other people backed out we would be called but in either case our sale person would call. Well no call the next day even after we made 5 calls to get a status on the truck. Then finally on Monday we call and of course our sales representative is not working so then I ask to speak to general manager and they send another representative to a please us... Just poor customer service... and very disappointed after reading all the great reviews... UPDATE - Now after I wrote this review I get a call from the sale person saying the truck is sold.. still the GM has not call. Great customer service Ben More
