Roch, I'm sorry that there was confusion regarding the availability of the vehicle, but I assure you that there was no attempt at "bait and switch". The salesperson was only trying to offer you other options in hopes that you would find something else you liked. Unfortunately, we only had 4-Door Unlimited models available, which carry a higher price despite having higher mileage. The issue itself stemmed from the fact that the customer who left the deposit was having some issues coming up with the balance. When they told us that they may not be completing the transaction, we put it back up for sale. They then contacted us to confirm that they would be coming to pick up the vehicle, but that period of uncertainty led to the situation that unfolded. With regard to a military discount, you are correct that we do not offer one, although we have contemplated it in the past and we are looking once again at changing that policy. The reason that we have not offered one is that we discount our vehicles so heavily, we do not build in the additional room for a discount. Even friends and family typically pay list price. That being said, I certainly do appreciate the sacrifices made by all those who defend our country and way of life.
