I went to Denver for David Archuleta's (my Brother-in-law) wedding. Dave owns a home painting company and had been searching for a small SUV for his bride. Knowing my experience at buying ca Brother-in-law) wedding. Dave owns a home painting company and had been searching for a small SUV for his bride. Knowing my experience at buying cars, he asked me for his help. We began shopping on line and ended up looking at used small SUV's at www.autoaves.com where we found several Toyota RAV4's that looked like they might work. We filled out a form online for one of them asking for a quote. Within 15 minutes we received an email back telling us more about the RAV4 we wanted and some others they had that weren't on their website yet. We scheduled an appointment with Candace and went to the dealership on a Thursday afternoon. When we arrived, we saw that the RAV4 we were interested in was parked in front of the showroom and had a red "Hold" tag slipped over a windshield wiper. This impressed me that somebody at the dealership had taken the time to get the car pulled out of the dealership's display spaces and marked it to hold. After taking a test drive, we went inside and Candace let us look up the Kelley Blue Book Values on the 2007 Toyota RAV4. The price she had quoted us was higher than Trade-In Value, but lower than Retail Value. Since Dave was getting married on Saturday and wanted to get the RAV4 for his wife's wedding present, we decided the vehicle was right and the deal was fair. The RAV4 was silver, which is what Dave wanted, and it was still covered under Toyota's 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty. It turned out that Automotive Avenues was connected with Dave's Denver Federal Credit Union, so we were able to get all the sales papers and credit union financing papers done right there at the dealership. The paperwork took less than an hour and Dave drove the new RAV4 home, while I drove his truck. All in all the experience was painless compared to other dealerships where I have purchased vehicles, and took less time than usual. The wedding went well, Dave's bride loves the RAV4 and the little SUV has been perfect in the 2 months since we purchased it. I have had enough bad experiences at dealerships to know that these people did a great job and wanted to take the time to let others know that are some dealers who are worth going out of your way to shop and buy at.
