We had a very pleasant and easy experience at Automotive Avenues on Sat., Sept. 18. We got Darcy's name from a co-worked that had worked with him in the purchase of a new vehicle. They ended up buying somewhere else but were so impressed with Darcy that they recommended him and Automotive him in the purchase of a new vehicle. We had a pretty good idea what we wanted so Darcy showed us what we wanted to see, crazy but he simply gave us what we asked for. We used our own bank for financing with absolutely no problems, had some mild pressure from the finance guy to use one of their credit unions but it was good information on a better rate. Basically, as advertised, a pressure free, fast and simple way to buy a car. When you drive off in your new ride you actually feel good rather than suspicious that you may have been treated poorly. I did extensive research on-line to find a pre-owned late model Toyota Tacoma truck, and had checked the Automotive Avenues site, as well. Not finding specifically what I was looking for on their site, I found several through other sites. I then spent the better part of two days going to dealerships negotiating on a couple of trucks. After 2 hours at a traditional dealership negotiating on a pre-owned truck that I was interested in purchasing, I was dissatisfied with the final offer and walked out. I was heading to another dealership when I passed by the Automotive Avenues location off of 6th Avenue. I had purchased two new cars previously through Automotive Avenues, and it had been a week since I had last checked their web-site, so thought I'd stop in to see what they had available on the lot. Dan Krofta helped me look at a couple of possibilities, but they weren't just the right vehicle that I was looking for. I realized more and more that the vehicle I wanted was at the dealership that had let me walk out on the deal. I then told Dan my story and how close we were on a deal, but that I just wasn't willing to meet their final offer. Dan said, "Oh, I have a contact over there." What I didn't realize was that Automotive Avenues has access to used vehicles at the traditional dealerships in the same way that they have access to the new ones. We discussed what I was willing to pay along with my trade in, and Dan made a call while I grabbed some lunch at their catered event. Just after I finished eating, Dan told me he could get the truck and he gave me an offer - It was the price that I told Dan I was willing to pay, AND it included the low Automotive Avenues doc/handling charge; the dealership was going to charge $499 on top of the final deal. Dan sent a guy to get the truck and I drove home in it that day! Had I just gone to Automotive Avenues in the first place, I would have saved myself hours, as well as the emotional drain that the negotiation process entails at a traditional dealership. Not to mention how efficient, professional and friendly Dan was in the whole process. I got a great Toy Taco! More

Sales person Michael was really nice and not pressureful at all. When there was a couple of problems with the vehicle after I bought it, he arranged for them to be fixed right away. Quality of work: in my case printed details [website / inventory list] related to mileage [a key metric for me] did not always match the odometer, in one case a discrepancy of 17,000 miles higher than printed. Auto Aves advertises their 240 point inspection process, but I found 'squishy' brakes and power windows not working. My point is, you, as the buyer have to CHECK everything. Overall Experience: exceptional, especially when compared to brand dealerships or independent used car sales lots I have been involved with in the past. More
