I was in the market for a Toyota FJ Cruiser this October and after visiting Mountain States Toyota and having a terrible experience called Automotive Avenues. Pat Shane returned my call and she, along with and after visiting Mountain States Toyota and having a terrible experience called Automotive Avenues. Pat Shane returned my call and she, along with Mary Wright, proceeded to assist with finding me an FJ that fit my criteria. Mountain States Toyota had the FJ originally which was exactly what I wanted, and Pat brought the vehicle down to Automotive Avenues. After a test drive and review of the vehicle I moved forward with purchasing it. She was professional, courteous, responsive, and unlike Mountain State Toyota went the extra mile during the entire process to ensure customer satisfaction. The FJ that I purchased from Automotive Avenues was Toyota Certified by Mountain States Toyota, came with a Toyota 12 month/12, 000 mile factory warranty, and would be transferred into my name post-purchase (either through the dealership or Automotive Avenues). Almost two weeks after purchasing the FJ, I contacted Pat Shane to see when I would be expecting the paperwork. I ended up having to make a trip out to her office where she proceeded to tell me that Mountain States Toyota would not give me the warranty. However; I could purchase it separately through the Toyota dealership, which was a total disappointment, since Mountain States Toyota told Pat I would receive it when I purchased the FJ. She was very apologetic regarding the entire situation and Automotive Avenues would provide me a vehicle warranty after all. This was not a 12 month / 12, 000 mile warranty, but a 48 month / 48, 000 mile warranty. I was very thankful and stated that most car dealerships would not go the extra mile providing this type of customer service. I thanked her for everything done by her, along with others working with her at Automotive Avenues. I will be recommending Automotive Avenues to others who are in the market for a new or used vehicle. More
