As always I told them what I wanted, what I was willing to spend and where I just purchased my third vehicle from Automaxx of Summerville in 4 years. As always I told them what I wanted, what I was willing to spend and where I wanted my payment and they worked it out for me very quickly. I bought a 2009 Yukon Denali this go round and the truck is perfect! I am more than satisfied with my purchase and the financing. People need to realize that they are buying a USED car though, you may end up with an issue down the road (even within a few days because it is USED!!!) but anytime I have ever had any issue Automaxx has helped me out. I have sent my entire family to them and my friends. They have a loyal customer in me!! More

bad experience Went to buy a truck on a Saturday for my son. He had just been in a bad accident & totaled his the night before. We were in a hurry because he had to have a vehicle for work. Everyone was very nice, as are most dealers till after you buy the car. We were promised 3.99% interest. I asked them how they could do that without approval from bank & they said don't worry we got it. We were told to drive the truck home & if we didn't want it Monday then they would take it back. Driving it that day we had problems with the transmission. We had bought a warranty & so when we came back Monday we were told they would fix anything wrong with it. Said they would repair a scratch on side & any other issues. Tuesday, they called & said they could not get the financing & it would change to 8.25% & he had to have a down payment. He did not have the time to look for another truck so he agreed to the terms. They told him they would take part of the money now & the other part when he got paid. They harassed him about fixing the truck & said they wouldn't do anything until he paid the rest of the money. He broke down at work & they did have it towed & told him there was nothing wrong with it. It is a 4x4 & it seems to switch into 4 wheel drive whenever it wants to. They said that he is not putting it in gear right. They also told him that if he brought it somewhere else for another opinion they would not honor it since they trusted their mechanics. If the truck does not get fixed soon we will be seeing a lawyer. Stay clear. They claim to be a no pressure dealer but then they make you think they are doing you a favor & trick you into buying the car. More

Horrible experience and used car salesman I would not recommend using AutoMaxx of Summerville. I bought a BMX X3 from them and had a litany of issues which I have described below. The man I would not recommend using AutoMaxx of Summerville. I bought a BMX X3 from them and had a litany of issues which I have described below. The manager I dealt with, Johnny, was the typical used car salesman mindset. I know plenty of honest and reputable ones but he promised me several things that he did not deliver on including; a new paint job to cover several areas where the paint was chipped. His paint guy used one of those touchup markers off TV that was clearly a much darker color of grey than the vehicle, he promised a full detailing of the car only to have it washed and vacuumed, and there were 3 major issues with the car and he lied about the repairs on them. I had to run up to the dealership 5 times to get the vehicle and they still couldn't get the car right. We had to meet the salesman even a after we finalized the deal because they forgot to get a signature on the purchase paper. They advised the car had brand new tires but the Front tire blew out the sidewall within hours of driving off the lot and I can't even get a replacement as they discontinued manufacturing those tires so I will need to get 4 new ones. High pressure sales tactics used throughout the entire process while several managers kept telling me how they never give such a good deal on a car and I needed to buy it now. More

I was totally satisfied with my purchase experience at this Dealership, and they even made a point to introduce me to the owner and many others of their staff. All facets of this experience was polite, professional, detailed , helpful and very enjoyable. This is definitely the Dealership I WILL recommend to Family Members and Friends. More
