I traded a 2005 Ford Explorer SportTrac in for a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. On the day I made the deal I asked Kimberly (the finance manager) when my trade-in would be paid off as I had a payment coming due i Dodge Ram 1500. On the day I made the deal I asked Kimberly (the finance manager) when my trade-in would be paid off as I had a payment coming due in 5 days. She told me that it wouldn't be a problem as they would pay it off on Wednesday, 2 days prior to my payment coming due which is deducted from my checking account by the way. Of course what I was told by Kimberly was a complete lie as 3 1/2 weeks later and a dozen phone calls my Ford was finally paid off. Of course the payment I made to a truck that I traded to Automax Atlanta and no longer owned I was told was too bad for me. I also was told to go get an emissions inspection done on the Dodge I purchased and send them the receipt and they would pay for me back. Of course they haven't paid that either. They owe me $135.00 total and it doesn't appear I was see a dime of any of it from these crooks and liars. I called them a dozen times (no exaggeration) and spoke to either Lakeem or Kimberly and each time I was told my them that they would find out when I would get my money and they would call me back. Not once did either one of those liars call me back. Ever!! I am completely disgusted with these people and wouldn't by a car from them again if they were selling them for $5 a car. More
I recently purchased a 2010 Toyota Rav4 from Alan at Automax Atlanta. I really lucked up finding this dealership online and was attracted by their very competitive prices. I got a great deal on a Limi Automax Atlanta. I really lucked up finding this dealership online and was attracted by their very competitive prices. I got a great deal on a Limited Edition vehicle that was in very good condition. I enjoyed working with Alan. He was very patient with multiple test drives of various vehicles on the lot and was helpful and informative without being pushy. There is nothing worse than a pushy salesman. If you are looking for a great deal and want to work with a salesperson who will help you find the car you want, rather than the car they want to sell you, Automax Atlanta would be a good bet. More
Horrible Service! My mother bought a used car here for a very reasonable price. When we first got to the dealership, I told her the place seemed "fishy" and that I didn't like the vibe. She only needed a temporary car so she didnt want to leave so we proceeded to stay. Anyhow, we felt rushed to make a purchase. Ended up buying a used car and as soon as the car was paid for, the service was out of the door. They said the title was going to be mailed off within 2 weeks of the bill of sale. Three weeks later, I call to get an update before the temporary tags expire and the receptionist tells me that it was mailed off. We called everyday until the date the tags expired. She proceeds to tell me that if we don't receive the title on the date of expiration, then we can take the temporary tag along with the bill of sale to the tag office and they will extend the tags. Well, when we get to the tag office, they ran the VIN and the title was never transferred to us. We called Automax and she ran out of lies. Don't tell me that you processed the paper work and mailed off the title when indeed you haven't done so. Such a waste of time. She eventually "worked her magic" two days after our tags expired and after us having to call and complain. Honestly, we shouldn't have to wait over a month to get something that should've been taken care of the day that we walk out the door. More

Firstly, I NEVER write online reviews... but felt I could help save someone the headache of visiting this lot, so here goes... I found this dealership after searching online and seeing all the great cars help save someone the headache of visiting this lot, so here goes... I found this dealership after searching online and seeing all the great cars at such low prices, as Im sure whoever is reading this did. My wife and I were driving in from Birmingham and called ahead of time to set up test drives at 4 different lots in the Atlanta area. I spoke with Rose earlier that morning and she assured me the particular cars I wanted to see were available. Rose was INCREDIBLY nice over the phone and seemed to be just as nice in person. She introduced me to Lakim who she said would help us. I asked to see 3 different cars on their lot (a 2010 Camry, and two 2010 Accords). First car we checked out was a Camry, several scratches, scrapes, and dings covered the car, trunk would not close (even after Lakim slammed it several times), very worn tires. Lakim told us "pre owned vehicles dont have new tires and every used car lot would look the same", I mentioned that the previous lots we went to had better looking tires, to which Lakim gruffed "where?". Wanted to give the benefit of the doubt that Lakim was having a bad day and that although the 2010 Camry was a pure lemon, the Accords would be better. Not quite. First Accord had major damage that was easily detected on a breif inspection of the outside. Huge hole near the driver's side windsheild wiper, several scratches, badly worn tires. Now we're at 2 out of 3 cars, and the 2 we'd seen were not just badly worn, but clearly damaged cars... that was enough for us to leave the lot. I'd stay away from this dealership. Several used lots in the area with better prices, and much better cars. Seeing the way we as potential buyers were treated, I cant imagine how one would be treated AFTER they already have your money. My wife and I ended up buying a 2010 Accord from a lot in Marietta (lower miles and better price). Save yourself the time and potential headache and look elsewhere. More
Don't go to this dealership. They just make the car look nice and sell it. I bought the car from here and the car had a big accident. My husband and I traveled from Alpharetta to Lilburn to see a Rav$ limited. He showed us the features and the Carfax without us even having to ask. He was also honest about a repaired and painted bump on the back of the vehicle that I honestly still don't see. They let us take it for a test drive on our own and were willing to negotiate a deal contingent upon the opinion of our mechanic. We purchased the car and love it. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. We were treated very well, they were honest and professional. We bought a terrific vehicle for a terrific price and would shop there again. More
