Their 5 Star rati Had a great experience buying this car. After seeing the car online I asked for additional photos and received them within minutes. Their 5 Star rating was a big reason why I drove from 75 miles away. When I went in to the dealership there was no pressure to buy the car. The salesman Landy was very helpful and professional. The sales manager went through the details of how they arrived at the price and the services that were done on the car. We agreed on the price and some minor cosmetic details I wanted done. When I went to pick up the car the repairs I had requested were made. They handled the registration and inspection right there at the dealership. Very happy with the car and the experience with this dealer. More

Paid $155.00 to Service. Nothing I wanted fixed, was. The console-mounted CD changer in my 2004 Mercury Sable stopped working, so I called Autofair and arranged to drop it off to see if it could be fixed. The console-mounted CD changer in my 2004 Mercury Sable stopped working, so I called Autofair and arranged to drop it off to see if it could be fixed. The next morning I received a call, "Well, your radio's fine, but your CD changer is actually in the console, and that might take some effort to get out. Do you want me to have him do that?" - So, the "progress" at this point is: 1. They've spent "billable" time checking an item I didn't want checked (the radio), and determined that the CD changer was in the console (as if I didn't know that, and as if it was NEWS TO THEM. By the way, the Sable, for all intents and purposes, was a clone of the Ford Taurus, and the CD changer in 2004 was only available as a console or trunk-mounted accessory...something anyone should expect a dealer to know, otherwise, why GO THERE?) and 2. They've now asked me if I want them to do what I INITIALLY asked them to do! - So, I said "yes", and then he said, "BTW, I always have my guys check other things, and you need your Power Steering Fluid and your Cabin Air Filer changed. Do you want me to go ahead and do that?"...unbelievable...feeling a little shocked at the incompetence and the arrogance in trying to suck more money out of me, I declined. To end this as quickly as possible, I picked up the car that evening, the bad CD changer was back in place, and I had a bill for $155.00. Within a few days I had a message on my answer machine from Customer Service (or "Relations"), asking how "satisfied" I was with the service. Then, after about a week of MY leaving messages, I finally reached her, and relayed this situation. After listening, she said that she'd get back to me with a resolution to the problem. 3 weeks later...nothing. -To shine an even harsher light on this, I bought a used changer off eBay and brought it to a Car Audio installer, who figured out what to do (remember, Autofair is a Ford DEALER), removed the old changer, installed the "new" one & had it all working and "buttoned up" in 20 MINUTES and charged me $25.00! - Does this need any conclusion? So It has been my experience that there is nothing different between car dealerships management, the only differentiator is the sales person you get. Sometimes you get a good one and rarely do you get a great one. Our sales rep Dominic 'Dom' Christie was the absolute best, he really went out of his way to make sure our car buying experience was the best it could be. I'm sure I'll need to replace another car in the next couple of years and I hope, for Autofairs sake, Dom is still selling cars for them... More

Horrible Dealership. STAY AWAY On February 2nd I visited this dealership to purchase a vehicle and as soon as I stepped on the lot, the problems started. I had called prior to my a On February 2nd I visited this dealership to purchase a vehicle and as soon as I stepped on the lot, the problems started. I had called prior to my arrival and told them I was coming to look at a particular vehicle which I was told was in stock. I got there and was told it just sold. Then I was told oh no, it's still here - this seemed weird, but ok mistakes happen. I negotiate the deal with the sales guy and everything is on track. I buy the vehicle. Next day - financing was supposed to call me... never did. I kept calling and was told they would call me back. Finally, I had to threaten to cancel the deal to get some information. I was told that they couldn't get a bank to approve me because I didn't have enough credit cards. I had a 730 credit score, but not enough tradelines. Finally they find a bank so that's all set. Now, I'm supposed to go pick up the truck on the 4th. Someone was supposed to call me, no call. i have to call them again, repeatedly. At 4PM they are calling me telling me that the insurance is messing up. They will not send them the RMV1 form. I call the insurance company to be told that they will not send it because the dealership is trying to insure the wrong vehicle... Really? I call the dealership back and explain this and oh oops "we messed up, sorry". So, they get the right vehicle info sent over and the car is registered and insured - they tell me to be there by 5:30. Now, I'm dealing with Todd Jones, who is by far the worst sales guy on the planet. Rude, not customer service knowledge whatsoever, and his famous line is "we dropped the ball". I arrive at 5:30, excited to pick up the truck. It's not ready. The truck was not detailed as promised. It's not inspected as promised. still has marker paint on the windows. Vehicle is filthy inside. I mention this and they say they will clean it. The vehicle was supposed to be completely detailed before I picked it up because it had some marks that were in need of being buffed out. Todd Jones: We dropped the ball! Now there was a whole fiasco about the paperwork when I arrived again. I had to re-sign papers. I was there for 3 hours. It was horrible. Now, it's time for me to leave, and the windshield wiper blades were not working and it was raining. I told the sales girl Sara (horrible by the way) that these needed to be replaced and she promised they would be. I couldn't see that well. I let Todd know.. what does he say "we dropped the ball". I asked him where i could go to get wipers (not from haverhill) and he said "I don't know. Do you want to return the vehicle?" This angered me and I let loose a bit. I should have said yes, I do. Then the Sales Manager Will steps in and promises me the world. Promises me 2 details and three free oil changes for my troubles. Tells me to get home look over the vehicle in the day light and call with any issues. I call the next day, because the scuff is still on the vehicle that should have been buffed out and the driver's side mirror is cracked and one of the key fobs is not operating. He promises me that he will take care of everything and to bring the car in the following week. I get there, Will quit!!! Wonder why!!! Now I have to deal with Todd Jones again. When I dropped the car off, I spoke to the new used car sales manager Chris, wicked nice, but no longer there. Todd calls me up - tells me that if I try to go over his head one more time, he's not doing a thing to fix anything for me. Tells me, I have your key fob right here, do you want me to fix it or do you want to go over my head again? I was roaring. I hung up on him and immediately placed a phone call to CEO Andy Crews. I get a call back from Larry the General Manager. Very nice. Promises to fix everything for me and does. Ok. great. thank you. I thought it would be done here. Well, now I'm waiting for my financing paperwork in the mail. My payment date is fast approaching. It's now 2/28 and i don't have anything. I call the finance company and they say we don't have an account for you! Call the dealership. I call... guess what I am told? Yup, we dropped the ball. Now, they needed a pay stub and needed some more paperwork signed. I also had to go up there and bring them the check for my first payment so it would not be late. I do this, and think ok, I'm done with them now... Few days later I'm calling finance company to check on it. Nope still no account for me. I call the dealership can't get anyone on the phone. Call Andy Crews again... now I'm threatening a law suit. This is not right. Larry calls my fiance... tells her that finance company LOST my contract. No, they lost it. Well, we had had it. We told them they can pay two months of car payments or they can come pick up the truck... they paid two months of car payments and brought the contract paperwork to me to sign with the check. At first they didn't want to pay the two payments - but I was done. I was ready to let them have the truck back and get my money back. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place at all costs. I can't believe Todd Jones even still has a job - he should be fired along with Sarah - the sales girl who never called me to thank me for the sale. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. More

Landy Tyler saw us in the parking lot, welcomed us, and pointed us in the direction of the type of car we were looking for. He let us look at the available cars on our own with no pressure at all. I ended up test driving a 2013 Ford Escape that I thought was the perfect car. I was able to trade my car in right on the spot and drive away in the new car the same day even though I had not planned on buying a car that day. Landy was the perfect salesman. His no pressure, laid back attitude helped us to make a decision that we were comfortable with. We also worked with Joe Tegan and Rafael Pabon who were just as nice. I have always dreaded all that goes with buying a car, but Autofair proved you can have a great no pressure car buying experience. Thanks Landy! More
