Brought the car in for an odd noise from the breaks. Took a tech, Roland I think, for a ride where he acknowledged something didn’t sound right. Car was examined to determine the brake assemblies looked good but the calipers may need servicing which could be the root cause of the noise. Agreed to have them cleaned/lubed etc and had the car back within an hour. So far, we are noise free. Great overall experience. Since I cannot elaborate under the question below about discounted pricing on parts/labor, I’ll add it here. $150 isn’t a lot to pay for the service I got. BUT, I just bought the car 7 months ago from your sister location in Manchester NH. I haven’t even put 5K miles on it. No long trips, no off roading etc. This type of repair/service should not be necessary at this point. Inclement weather has been minimal and as said, with minimal driving it’s something I truly believe should have been discounted. I understand it’s a wear n tear issue and isn’t covered by a warranty but you should have offered a minimum 25% discount, more fairly a 50% discount based on how long I’ve had the vehicle. Otherwise I don’t think discounts are necessary for normal services and it’s associated labor. At the end of the day I’m happy and appreciative of the job done and friendliness of the staff.
