Neal, you bring up a few great points. In order to register a previously owned vehicle in the state of Massachusetts you must have the title. Our preowned Team works hard to find the best units and ship them in from all over the country. Sometimes sellers delay the title or have trouble getting them in a timely manner. In this particular case, the hold-up was shared and explained before moving forward with the loan paperwork. Some auctions/sellers are more forthcoming with title issues, while others are difficult to get updates from. It is unfortunate that this title was delayed past our typical auction-mandated time frame. Normally we would allow the customer to continue to drive the trade and hold the value, as long as the vehicle doesn't come back with additional damage or excessive miles. This was not possible due to the previously undisclosed transmission issue with the vehicle being traded in. After realizing your situation we tried to help with an aggressive deal on a new in-stock unit. It is unfortunate you were unable to take advantage of such a great deal due to days of lengthy phone negotiations. Lastly, I understand you are frustrated with Pedro hanging up. After reviewing the call I am confident he made the right decision. The mental health of our Team is incredibly important to me.
