You will not make mistake if you choose this one! She managed to convince me she will take care of me and even take care of my expense of coming in there by gift card just for visit. I was set in a minute for appointment and she held her word with gift card. Jason was the appointed sales guy to take care of me and boy did he do it well! He understood what I am looking for, what I want and what I do not want. Gave me few rides in different cars and put in table options. I was not going to buy a car that day but he found the deal I could not refuse- well, he made everyone happy right ? Job well done Jason! Store manager came few times in the process to help and check on me as customer- he was vey attentive.You can trust your business to this dealership and you will not make mistake. Car buying made simple My purchasing style is simple, research the vehicle up front based on the dealer’s website. When we get to the dealer I have 3 simple questions: pric My purchasing style is simple, research the vehicle up front based on the dealer’s website. When we get to the dealer I have 3 simple questions: price of the purchase vehicle, trade-in appraisal, and ”doc" fees. Then discuss finance deal options/rates etc. AutoFair Haverhill quickly and easily provided answers. 1)Price of the truck based on my research and other vehicles was lower than others. I would even say "aggressive" 2)Price offered for my trade based on my research and kbb.com was towards the high end of KBB trade in value. 3)Doc fee’s, I have paid more at other dealers. Currently it is $399.. For the life of me I will never personally understand the "doc fee". But it is competitively priced versus others. The only issue I had with the truck was that it was not equipped with carpet which is a 50/50 option on the F150 STX line which was what I specifically was looking at. AutoFair gave me a very fair price to have carpet installed. I do not know the exact cost of parts, however I feel as I got a very fair deal based on internet research and the blood sweat and tears it would take me to install it… Having dealt with a few "car sales folks" in the past one thing that really became obvious was they were actually listening to me and trying to meet my needs and make this as simple as possible for us. This is hard to fake in my opinion. All the folks we dealt with were pleasant, respectful and made the time we had to be there pleasant. Dominique was the salesperson and without question he made this whole process as smooth as possible for us. Thank you Dom! The deal was made and papers were signed. This new electronic application tool they used was a breeze with the finance folks. He explained what he needed to about extended warranties and such. We declined on them and that was that, it was quick and easy no high pressure no trying to sell us on something we did not want. Only stated we had 30 days on some things if we changed our minds and done! Awesome!!! AutoFair Haverhill made this simple and easy. I feel both parties got a good deal. Let’s face it, they’re in the business to make money. Whatever the final numbers are on their side based on this purchase, I walked away feeling I got a great deal for the truck I wanted, and they gave me a very fair price on my trade. Thank you All!!! AutoFair Haverhill has a great website, clean facility and friendly sales folks. I would shop them again without question. The Story if you feel like extra reading including details of how I backed my trade in to that HUGE FORD sign the day I turned the trade in… I was looking for a used F150 started my search with the AutoFair website which was simple and intuitive to use. Once I found the vehicle that I thought would be the one I headed down to AutoFair Haverhill. I was welcomed by Dominique Christie. Typically when I walk into a car dealer based on previous experiences I'm prepared for "war". The "me" versus "them" mentality. I was very direct with Dominique and quickly realized he was actually listening to me. We looked at the truck and I liked it but I was not prepared to buy it that moment. As my better half wanted to look at it also. So we went in, talked about what I liked and did not like. Never for a moment did I feel "pressured" to let’s make a deal right now. The sales group acknowledged my reasons and did not apply pressure, just assured me that when the time was right they would be there. Took some basic info and went on my way. A few days went by and I looked at some other dealers, and met some ”high pressure" sales people. After looking around I determined the truck AutoFair Haverhill had was "the one" with an exception, the carpet. I knew I was buying used and options are not always availible in the used market. So Sunday my better half and I went down to the AutoFair Haverhill to take a close look and see where things went. Took the truck for a test drive. Stated to Dominique I had a certain route i wanted to drive as I knew it. NO problem he said, go wherever you need to. Great!! This was a Ford Certified Pre Owned F150 with 11,000 miles. Of course it drove nice so the test drive was pretty simple. Came back to the dealer to work out the details. They had a figure for my trade ready when we got back. Sat down and started to talk about what they could do regarding the carpet, after a few minutes they came back with a price that just blew my mind and we started the process of buying. The whole buying process has always taken longer than I have liked. It still is a process waiting to get to the finance people to ink the deal. The dealership had a nice feel to it. Chairs were comfortable and they had upbeat music playing. The popcorn maker was a nice touch and was rather good as well. Finance room talk came and went and was short and sweet, the electronic filing was new to us. Only had to reboot the computer once hey it’s Windows…… We knew we could not leave with the truck that night. We live in NH and were purchasing from MA. The process was simple and AutoFair made it easy. The next day the plan was for Dom to meet my wife at the town hall in NH which is only open 9-12… Do the paperwork at town hall. Dominique to bring the papers to the dealer then later that night meet me at a dealer in NH to do the vehicle transfer.. No way was I paying sales tax!! :) Great plan… Except I forgot to leave the registration for the trade with my wife… So I got a call around 10am and I drove to the dealer to give Dominique the registration.. No problem easy… Well as I was leaving the dealer, you ever see that HUGE ford sign they have??? Well I backed the trade into the HUGE SIGN…. Yup caused damage without question… So I went in head held low and told them what had happened. Chris, the used car manager met me in the parking lot. Presented me with my options. File an insurance claim, Have a place fix it, or since he was was the used manager and thought it could be fixed for this much so just write them a check…… I literally wanted to hug the man as his price was so shockingly low i was in shock. A check was written. Later that night Dom and I met in NH to make the vehicle transfer to avoid paying sales tax. The truck was clean, filled up with gas and just pristine, the detail guys did a great job.. Maybe because it was 60F in the end of January they had some pep in their washcloths. However looking at the cleanliness of the dealership I suspect it is “just their way”.. Dom offered to explain to me all the features of the truck etc. I declined all offers as I’m a “man.” Who needs instructions right?? We parted ways.. Have had the truck now for a few days with no issues. Thank you all very much for an enjoyable car buying experience! More
