SCAM!! I purchased a truck from them. They couldnt produce a title, and refused to fix issues with the truck. A few weeks later found out they never paid of I purchased a truck from them. A few weeks later found out they never paid off my trade, and then i had to take them to court to get my trade in, and my deposit back. Scummy people, they smile to your face, while stick it in your back. They even destroyed my trade in before giving it back to me. It was filthy and half the options now don't work. Good dealership, lacks some attention to detail I was a little hesitant to buy a car at Dedham Auto Mall due to the large number of mixed reviews on Yelp/Google. I did purchase a 2012 Maxima. Sales I was a little hesitant to buy a car at Dedham Auto Mall due to the large number of mixed reviews on Yelp/Google. I did purchase a 2012 Maxima. Sales experience was good. I dealt with Andre and then Mark who oversaw final negotiations. Andre was professional and courteous and he took the time to address each of my requests. Mark was also good at agreeing that there were a couple of flaws with the car that needed fixing if I were to buy the car. He did a good job negotiating with me on them all. I noticed the car needed new tires, repair a faulty blinker, install new wipers, do a thorough interior cleaning of the car, and remove the dark window tint because although I loved it, it was at the illegal limit for MA laws. A more thorough dealership would have had all these things done prior to even putting the car on the lot for sale. So that is a lack of attention to detail on their part. My initial return visit to fix all these items went very badly, but the next day got completely resolved to my satisfaction. My salesman, Andre took my car early in the morning and service was supposed to address some of these repairs and have it ready at the end of the day. I came back end of day and nothing had been touched. The car literally sat all day for nothing. I was irate and spoke with Judy in the sales office. She got in touch with Tito in service, who made good the following day by giving me an Enterprise rental car and he kept my car for 2 days while he addressed all of these things listed above. They did a thorough job of fixing and cleaning each item that I was promised. I can’t say they were bad, because he did each thing he was supposed to. Just too bad it was so unorganized and my car sat for a whole day the first time. However, since Tito made good on everything the next day I give them 4 stars because unlike some of the other reviewers’ experiences, I did not get the runaround on them delivering what was promised. I also have no complaints about the price I paid or the overall sales experience. Too bad the service was handled in an unorganized way is all. Finally, I’d say that where this place lacks shine is the attention to detail. Again, all the repairs I noticed should have been done prior to putting the car on the lot. Also, anytime I buy a car, I am always given a portfolio type folder which has a car fax printed out and the service invoice which shows all the pre-sale inspection and repair work done on the car. It also shows all the information like what’s on the window sticker. I should have seen an invoice which shows what they did on the car pre-sale: brakes, oil change, safety inspection, etc. This is a document I have always automatically received (in a neat folder) upon delivery of a used car. With DAM, I had to ask twice for these documents and finally got it all in pieces. It should have been part of a sales documentation packet when I took delivery of the car. Promised to get me a second key - who sells a car with only one key - have contacted them numerous times Via e-mail AND phone. Key has been promised on two occasions at a cost of $160 to me -a cost I was more then willing to pay. It is now nearly two months post sale and I have given up on ever receiving a second key. Advice: get everything they promise BEFORE you take delivery because their promises are not kept once the sale is finalized. Love the car, wish after-sale attention. Very disappointing for a dealership that deals in premium automobiles. More

Hoping for a gem, got a lemon. I bought a 2004 Jaguar X-Type from Dedham Auto Mall in March and paid top dollar for the vehicle and wanted to let folks know what a piece of crap it I bought a 2004 Jaguar X-Type from Dedham Auto Mall in March and paid top dollar for the vehicle and wanted to let folks know what a piece of crap it is. The car has literally been in the shop at least as much as I have driven it. Although I purchased an extended warranty, they will not cover any of the wiring, electrical or transmission parts to fix the problems I have experienced. The car did not make it the 30 days for the Lemon Law but I had exceeded the allowable mileage under the Law. I cannot drive the car when it is wet outside because water is getting into the wiring somehow and it drops the car into limp mode (1st gear only and that slips) which can only be fixed by costly repairs. I am currently out several thousand dollars for repairs that are not covered under warranty. When the car dropped into limp mode the first time, I contacted your service center but had no way to get the car from Lowell to Dedham (a very long drive in first gear). I wanted to make you aware of this because these issues have already potentially cost you two sales. In the interest of future business, if asked I will steer anyone away from your organization. More

Though he was not my sales rep, formally speaking, only the one I turned to when communication post purchase went fuzzy with the one I did have. For the sake of letting people learn and grow I'll refrain from pointing fingers (or selecting the sales rep specifically here as I don't know who sees this review; and focus only on how Mark F. was great and he deserves such applaud. My final suggestion is that the company should look to improving how they communicate with their customers in the times we live in. It's great I can call a reps desk, but if they're message box is full (my experience) that helps no-one and is pivotal to maintaining communications. Secondly, on the topic of communication but with regards to emailings. I depend on communicating over email both because I don't get good phone service in my office and because I prefer getting written replies of acknowledgment when it comes to items we agree on in a purchase of this nature. That said, the team has emails, but the response time, grammar, and formality (of some individuals, not all) was lacking. I work in a position where communicating well in this digital form is not only necessary, but also speaks volumes about a person when they do it poorly. I have an appointment to get a couple small issues with the car taken care of (that were there pre-purchase) next week and Moe (in service) has been both professional and responsive in that process. I look forward to that going well. Lastly, a tip to those interested in extended warranties. I was not in a position to get one when I signed for the purchase (I needed to do more research on the plans they offered), but was unable to sit down with the representative when I came to get the car a couple days later. After following up with my sales rep (whom I'll remain anonymous) on my continued interest in purchasing a plan they replied (via email) with (and I quote) "It's too late" (this speaks to the lack of professionalism in emails I mentioned above). I remain confused as to why that is the case and look forward to more clarity and hopefully a different answer with an email I have out to Mark. More
