After giving autostar a second chance due to having such a horrible experience with my first car bald tires, no free oil changes as promised and not being able to get a hold of them to schedule the so calle a horrible experience with my first car bald tires, no free oil changes as promised and not being able to get a hold of them to schedule the so called free maintenance. About a year later i wanted to purchase a second vehicle from them, i was approved for the wrong vehicle. After being specific about the exact vehicle i wanted and that i didnt want my credit hit unless they could find this due to trying to buy a house. I was sent through several different sales people (5 to be exact before i finally said something) having to explain over and over again what vehicle i wanted to each different sales person, what exactly and why exactly i was looking for what i was, only for my credit to be hit six different times and approved for the wrong vehicle. I finally told them to stop calling and that they had indefinately lost my buisness and the buisness of my family as well. That was about six months ago. I found a vehicle i wanted, had my eye on it for a while, and decided to buy it but go through the sylva auto star so that i wouldnt be dealing the waynesville sales people. Within the first week of me having it the suv had to be put in the shop due to breaks, rotors and popping cracking noises. Front break system was replaced, at the expense of the dealership. Upon picking it up i noticed it shaking and pulling when the breaks were applied. This was not happening before they worked on it. I brought it back and was told the they were not going to rebuild my truck for me. I told them that i have had it maybe two weeks and that the 3000 to 30 day warranty was not up on it yet and that i shoukdnt have to pay to fix anything on a truck i had just bought and that the warranty should cover it. They then replaced the back break system, and they did this at there own expense. The truck was still popping and pulling. I made an appointment to have it looked at by the ford dealership in town because it was a ford vehicle and to get a second opinion. Also because i saw that the axle seal was leaking and after i was told rudely that they werent going to rebuild my truck for me, i thought it would be wise to take it sonewhere else as the innitial inspection shouldnt have passed to be able to sell this suv in the first place. At this point i have had it three weeks, 2 of those weeks it has been in the shop. Autostar is refusing to pay for or warranty out the further issues that are causing this suv to be safe and drivable for myslef, my family and causing me to loose work pay and my time, not too mention going to cost me at least 1500 out of pocket before i have even had to make my first payment. I havent had it 30 days. I am dissapointed to say the least and disgusted with the AutoStar family and will no longer be giving you buisness. More
