Good morning sir, all of our vehicles are serviced prior to sale. Including a multi-point inspection, state inspection and emissions inspection which all passed on your vehicle. If the exhuast system or struts were bad then the inspections would've failed. All purchases come with a 7 day warranty to cover any mechanical issues and a 6 month/6,000 miles powertrain warranty which is how previous servicing was not charged. When you purchased the CX-9 our Business Manager always explains coverage, especially service contracts that would protect you financially in the event something happens in the future like it did now, unfortunately it was nearly a month later (You purchased on 9/28/20 and the call in was on 10/22/20). Our Business Manager explained that it would be a good idea to purchase some coverage especially since you were already trading out of a CX-9 with a bad transmission without having the coverage to repair it. As to the motor replacement, it was not a brand new vehicle and we are certain there has been repairs to the vehicle in the 5 years of prior ownership. This is why a manufacturer gives new vehicles full warranty coverage from the factory, vehicles will need maintenance and repairs throughout ownership.

In response to (You purchased on 9/28/20 and the call in was on 10/22/20). The vehicle was in for service twice in that period of time and the mechanical issue was not resolved. The third request for service was about a week, maybe 10 days from the previous call. I explained that I was in the process of moving during that time, but it didn't matter to the GM. The "multi-point inspection" is bogus, because these are verified major issues by a highly respected third party mechanic in the Lehigh Valley. You are selling vehicles with major mechanical issues, you refuse to fix them after they are discovered and every person at every level of this company has treated me with disrespect and refused to fix the situation. I recommend that anyone considering Autoproved go elsewhere for better vehicles, service and common courtesy. This remains my worst experience buying a car ever!

The mechanical issue you had was resolved, the sound you heard was the splash guard in the fender well which was replaced for you. Warranty time can not be extended for personal issues, compliance must be followed which is everyone has 7 days from the date of purchase. Again, if there were any issues that prevented the vehicle from passing a state or emissions inspection the part would've been replaced and repaired properly. The state of Pennsylvania has strict state and emissions regulations which prevent major dealerships from selling vehicles needing repairs. All customers are always treated with respect, we will not repair issues with a vehicle when no coverage is available. Unfortunately your purchase did not include coverage, at your decision, so moving forward any repairs or maintenance is now the responsibility of the owner.

WRONG. The mechanical issue remains, it was not the splash guard, that was just one of many problems with this vehicle from the moment it left your lot. This is not about PA state inspection or emissions, there can be mechanicle issues that still pass a PA state inspection. This is about a lemon vehicle that AutoProved refuses to fix. All personnel from the salespeople to the GM have been disrespectful and unwilling to DO THE RIGHT THING. No one at AutoProved that I have dealt with has any sense of customer service, let alone any integrity. Don't mention that the entire engine was replaced? 7 days for one of the largest purchases people will ever make? You should be ashmed of that, not promoting it. But keep selling your extended warranties for faulty vehicles. You are taking advantage of people to sell poor quality used vehicles and you are lying to your customers and to the public with your responses. I'm going to let as many people as possible know about it.
