my car was in to fix same problem 3 times, ECP light came on while using cruise control, fortunately have a pretty good extended warranty. 1st was update computer ($400), lasted to get me home 60 miles, next on while using cruise control, fortunately have a pretty good extended warranty. 1st was update computer ($400), lasted to get me home 60 miles, next day leave for work it comes back on, taken back now need check fuel system, replaced all 4 fuel injectors ($2600), w/in 3 miles the EPC light came back on. now something internal of motor, motor ran perfect no noises, roughness and still very responsive. told can tear it apart but probably won't see the problem. VW would only pay 60% and having extended warranty pay 40%, however was told extended warranty wanted the $2600 back for fuel injectors since didn't fix problem (haven't called warranty to confirm as of writing review). so to get car, paid it, engine still breaking (only have under 500 miles in a week), doesn't seem to have same response in performance, fuel mileage a bit lower. looked to sell the car and would only give me $14,000 to buy outright. i would put money on it that they would list it on lot for $23,000 since has new create motor from VW considering a new GLI is $32k. considering was at the shop almost 2 months, they would have cleaned inside making look new complimentary, the outside was washed. maybe if they would give back the $2500 be ok with it, then be able get new tires, wheel alignment. previous services like oil changes been ok, but seemed to take long time with appointments. i would sell it to a private person first for $14k before dealership, carfax places a value of $17,070 for the car due to condition and maintenance been kept up to date. Charlotte is amazing and is the main reason we keep coming back to the dealership. Service Dept (cleaning the car) is still horrible. My car was not washed again for some reason. I didn't have the t coming back to the dealership. Service Dept (cleaning the car) is still horrible. My car was not washed again for some reason. I didn't have the time to wait again as over the past few years many times I receive my car back more dirty than when I have dropped it off. This is a serious issue and makes my wife and I (both have VW's) not want to go back. Again, Charlotte is AMAZING! More

This is a follow up review to a previous service issue I had with another dealership regarding the maintenance service package I purchased from Autonation with my vehicle. Due to the package expiring Findl had with another dealership regarding the maintenance service package I purchased from Autonation with my vehicle. Due to the package expiring Findlay Volkswagen would not honor my 30,000 mile maintenance and wanted me to pay out of pocket. I posted a review about Autonation as I felt I had been lied to about the details of my package. I was contacted by the General Manager who explained the miscommunication between myself and the finance manager and had me scheduled for service with Autonation the same week. My service was completely covered and the customer service I received from the service department was exceptional! I am very pleased with Autonation as they have definitely proved to me they care about their customers. I will continue to do business with Autonation as they have definitely proven themselves as not being another dishonest dealership who is only out for their own personal gain. More
There were several issues with this service visit. I had to bring my Tiguan in to repair an oil leak due to your service technicians lack of attention to detail on my previous visit. I brought my Tiguan to bring my Tiguan in to repair an oil leak due to your service technicians lack of attention to detail on my previous visit. I brought my Tiguan in for its regular maintenance. After returning home I began to notice a few drops of oil coming from the under carriage. I brought the car in to have this problem looked at. As I suspected the issue was the oils drain plug. After being told the vehicle was ready I came back to pick up the vehicle. 1) the paper work was not ready. Initially staff could not find the paper work. Once they did, it was incomplete. No story or actions taken was listed on the paperwork. 2) incomplete work done, I purchased the oil additive for added engine protection on my last oil change. After reading the the story I discovered the the oil had been changed to replace the drain plug. When I had asked about the additive, they had forgotten about it. 3) the car was returned to me un washed 4) while I was standing at the counter my service representative and another Auto Nation employee began talking about the behavior of of a previous customer in a negative manner. This service experience left much to be desired. It shows that your company does not value your customers time and monetary investment. Moreover, you don't value your customers, to hear your representatives speak so poorly of your customers in front of other customers summarizes Auto Nation's core values. More
