They’ve kept a $500 deposit on a used Ford Escape for 4 weeks now, and then they told me they couldn’t sell me the car because it didn’t pass inspections. It should not take 4 weeks to find out a car doesn’t pass inspection, especially after taking a $500 deposit from me. Barry, the salesman that handled this “car sales deal” told me, a week ago, that he couldn’t sell me the car, after waiting 2 weeks for it, and that he would return my $500. I still haven’t received my $500 back. I just called the dealership again and spoke to the financing department, hoping they will give me my $500 back. The financing department told me they never received confirmation from Barry that I should get my $500 back. I am trying to buy my teenage daughter a car, and this just took 3 weeks too long and I am out $500, until this dealership returns my money to me. It was going to be a cash sale and this is a sad way to handle this. They lost my business and I went down the street to a different dealership. This dealership is unexceptional in the car sales department. Brianna, the receptionist, hung up on me 4 different times because I kept calling to speak to a manager to get this resolved. I called over 10 times this week asking for a manager, and 10 people sent me to a voicemail box. No one will take responsibility. I finally told Barry that I was writing a negative review and he had his manager Jeffrey call me. I am still waiting to get my money. More
