It started with a Kelley Blue Book quote and ended with me driving away in a new car, same day! I recently purchased a vehicle at Auton Nation USA Katy off 10 and hwy 6 and I was able to use my last vehicle towards the down payment. My salesperson, William Anthony was very patient in helping me find a vehicle that checked off my top must-haves and made the process go smoothly. Great experience! More
As an auto broker, we work with dealerships and sales people all across the country. I must say Omar at AutoNation USA is one of the finest. Doing remote deals takes a different type of sales person to u people all across the country. I must say Omar at AutoNation USA is one of the finest. Absolutely horrid experience. Would not recommend this dealership to an enemy. This dealership is sketchy, and not above illegal practice. Upon arrival my wife, 10-month-old daughter were met with explicit 2000s rap music playing on a JBL speaker by one of the managers… Not family friendly in the slightest. Moving past the atmosphere, there is a $400 window tint fee which is not advertised anywhere. It is only when you’re ready to close on the deal that this is presented to you. After arguing with Abdullah Rehman, he went back and forth with the manager. The reason that was told to me as to why I must pay for a window tint fee where there is zero tint on the vehicle I plan on purchasing is because the dealership already paid for it… Anyways, being ready to walk out, the manager shouted “you win” from across the sales floor. After paying for the window tint, I figured I may as well get what I paid for. The window tint crew is only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesday morning I texted Abdullah to see if the tint crew was there. He assured me they were and to bring it in. Upon arrival, Abdullah took the car back to be worked on, only to return to me 10 minutes later telling me the tint guy was running late. He told me that I could wait, but that it would be three hours. I left after deciding to come back Thursday. Thursday morning after checking with Abdullah and asking him to verify if the guy was there or not this time, he assured me that he was in and could complete the tint that day. I dropped the car off just before 1PM. Come 4PM I text Abdullah to see if it was ready, to which he told me it was and to come pick it up. I had a coworker drive me out to the dealership. At 5:45PM Abdullah texted me saying the car wasn’t ready, but wouldn’t be ready until the following morning. I had arrived to the dealership just after this, to which I was ignored by management. Apparently, an oil change was ordered by the manager on my vehicle, and then the mechanics left for the day. At no point was I asked if I wanted this work done on the car, I was not even notified. Now, I would had to find a ride home for a service I didn’t authorize or approve. Oil changes only take a few minutes, which begs the question what time did they begin the oil change, and why was it started so close to the time that the mechanics leave. The unauthorized work on a vehicle, and then prohibiting me from retrieving my vehicle is two DTPA violations. What is sickening is management wouldn’t even provide me with a ride home, they wanted me to Uber home… What is even worse is management this entire time wouldn’t even speak to me or acknowledge me, they simply would send Abdullah to break the bad news. Even after illegally withholding my vehicle from me for work that I did not authorize (or even be made aware of) not a word from management. No apology, no solution, just silence. The following morning when picking up my vehicle I took the names of the people who ordered the oil change without my consent, while the gentleman in glasses at the front desk argued with me that they did nothing wrong… This dealership is the worst of the worst. Do not buy your car from here. They will lie to you repeatedly, and begin unauthorized work on your vehicle without even notifying you, and won’t let you take your vehicle home. I’m disgusted and appalled by what I was subjected to. I have never felt more violated by an institution in my life. Despicable dishonest (and illegal) business practices, horribly apathetic customer service, and vulgar environment. More
