My previous experience with dealers have made me to hate the process, therefore I came with a bad bias. From the moment I entered Autonation Toyota of Weston I sensed a different vibe. No seller came to me like a shark to try to involve me on anything. I could go straight and see the vehicle I wanted and others. When I got my decision I went to ask to see a seller. I was assigned to work with Mr Juan Carlos Toro. What a great and amazing experience. He was very clear about the steps, fees and process overall. For the 1st time I went home feeling like a winner after a process like this. Even the trading process of my old vehicle felt really smooth. I am recommending this dealer to everyone around. A fried. Of mine was with me the whole time. He is also a cars lover and he has bought multiple cars before. He was also amazed by how smooth the process was. The after sells has been also very smooth. Extremely distasteful, dishonest, and dismissive dealership and management. We wanted a car, and planed to buy a car on Sept 29, 2024. We left with a beautiful car, but the we were bamboozled big ti dealership and management. We wanted a car, and planed to buy a car on Sept 29, 2024. We left with a beautiful car, but the we were bamboozled big time by the financial department, on the payment terms, credit check (running through banks they were not supposed to because they get an incentive to go with their financial institution), adding on without informing us of an extremely expensive maintenance package. Corporate has been informed and an investigation opened up. The GM, the finance director Hassan, and finance guy James M. are absolutely despicable. They made an easy purchase turn into a nightmare, then attempted to deny their incompetence. Even tried to tell us since papers were signed there is no going back, after they committed fraud, and tried to cover up that there was a 30 day time period to cancel. They lied, tried to intimidate, were disrespectful, and committed fraud. Unfortunately for them I have worked in multiple car dealerships and know exactly what to look for. Adding to the fact that the GM called within an hour of leaving the dealership after confronting them and calling Auto Nation to open an investigation, so he can apologize and ask how he can further help. When less than an hour ago he was disrespectful, dismissive, and deceitful. All of a sudden he wants to apologize. Disgusting practices. More
