I had my car towed to this location. I called an hour or so after I knew the car was dropped off by the AAA towing truck. The manager, Mitch, claimed that he did not have the car there, I called an hour or so after I knew the car was dropped off by the AAA towing truck. The manager, Mitch, claimed that he did not have the car there, and even if the car was there, the keys were lost. He also gave me a lot of attitude. I went by the next day to make sure the car was there. Not only was the car sitting in the front of the building, the same manager (Mitch) tried to argue with me again. He stated that the car was not out there even though I walked past it as I entered the building. After receiving no updates on my car during the two days it was in the shop, I was told the service tech and their manager had driven the car around trying to recreate the noise/problem, but they "never could" recreate it. As I drove the car off the lot, the car began to make the same noise. I would not recommend this place even if it was the last mechanic's shop open for 250 miles. Horrible management, and they aren't afraid to lie. Thankfully they didn't charge me, but why would they charge when no work was actually done? More

Had to carry my vehicle back three times for a squeak in the front end. After first trip I was told parts were ordered and I would be called. Finally after 30 days I went back in to learn no parts were ever the front end. After first trip I was told parts were ordered and I would be called. Finally after 30 days I went back in to learn no parts were ever ordered. Left the vehicle the second time and the mechanic replaced REAR suspension parts for a FRONT end noise. Had to leave it the third time. Finally was fixed on the third trip. Don't know where they get these mechanics. More
The overall experience was really good. Ricky ensured they worked on the service items I had specifically requested. Moreover, they did not attempt any uncomfortable up-sales. However, the service took longer than the estimated two hour window. When I inquired about it, Ricky told me that was because they have to source the items from nearby Lexus parts dealers. I had specifically asked him twice before the servicing whether they can indeed service a Lexus and he never mentioned this possible delay. I'm only disappointed that this was not revealed before hand. So my only options the next time are: 1). Drive about 40 mins each way to the nearest Lexus dealer 2). Endure the additional delay at Thornton Toyota when they source the needed parts. Or 3). Buy all the necessary parts for that servicing and give them to Thornton at the service appointment! More
