Buyers beware of bait-and-switch. After two weeks of negotiating a final out-the-door price with a sales person at AutoNation Toyota in Thornton Rd, his Internet manager, and the n After two weeks of negotiating a final out-the-door price with a sales person at AutoNation Toyota in Thornton Rd, his Internet manager, and the new car sales manager for a specific car on their lot, we reached an agreement and agreed to come in and buy the car. But when we came to trade-in our car and buy the new one, the sales person and his manager claimed the car on the lot was more expensive than the one they quoted us for our deal. Frustrated by this bait-and-switch tactic, we walked out. We bought a car the next day from Atlanta Toyota on Pleasant Hill Rd. More

Scheduled 2nd ATF service for my vehicle at 113K miles (prior ATF service was done by a different Toyota dealer at 75K miles). I made sure that AutoNation had all the details (mileage, age, prior service (prior ATF service was done by a different Toyota dealer at 75K miles). I made sure that AutoNation had all the details (mileage, age, prior service records,etc) before the appointment. I drove for an hour only to be told by the service writer that they do not do ATF service on vehicles past 100K miles. They want to sell you a new car, hoping that it breaks down soon, so they could sell you another. More
