I do not recommend AutoNation Toyota Thornton Road to purchase your Toyota. I am familiar with the superb and great service that AutoNation extends as I have purchased 3 brand new Toyota's at other locat purchase your Toyota. I am familiar with the superb and great service that AutoNation extends as I have purchased 3 brand new Toyota's at other locations with my wife, so the service we have received at this location is disappointing to say the least. Communication is lackluster, I received my NEW car two weeks later than estimated (after I called - no emails (although I emailed the General Manager - with no response), texts or follow ups), in which they said I was upgraded because the one I wanted wasn't available, however, the upgrade came with an increased interest rate and monthly bill that was not explained - and my credit ran again. My car also came with sticker residue inside the glove compartment which still has not been rectified - although I made a verbal complaint to the sales associate and finance associate. Almost two weeks later I received another call about verification for financing. A procedure that they said was new. When I explained my frustration, they insinuated that I did not want to answer (as if he had something to hide). This could have been avoided if it was communicated during the signing process that there is a new procedure where they call you to verify information. The whole process was unnecessarily long, and for the price, I could've been 'upgraded' to the car I originally wanted. I hope that this location improves on communication, as it is in the utmost importance to do so. It would dispel a lot of miscommunications, confusion and frustration. More
Went in for an oil change but ended up doing more work on my car. One of the members stayed late just to help me. Rick was very helpful and accommodating. Only downfall is the wait, I was there 4 hours but my car. One of the members stayed late just to help me. Rick was very helpful and accommodating. This was my first time having my car serviced at this dealership. The appointment was easy to make by phone; I only had to wait a few minutes once I arrived; everyone was friendly and competent. With one dealership. The appointment was easy to make by phone; I only had to wait a few minutes once I arrived; everyone was friendly and competent. With one exception, they did exactly what I asked and more. Had to go back the next day for the last small item. More
These xxxxxxxx sold me a car 4 months ago for 25k. I have since lost my job and can no longe afford the vehicle. I tried to sell it back to them, fully expecting to take a 10-15% loss on the transacti I have since lost my job and can no longe afford the vehicle. I tried to sell it back to them, fully expecting to take a 10-15% loss on the transaction. They offered me 15k, a third less than I paid for it. Bottom line - they knowingly put people into automobiles that they are impossibly upside down on from the word go. Buy your car literally anywhere else. This is a scam operation. More
5 stars for Courtney Golder, my service rep, a wonderful person who has helped me during several visits to Autonation over the past three years. He is a class act, very professional, every single time. Ho person who has helped me during several visits to Autonation over the past three years. He is a class act, very professional, every single time. However, if I return to this service location, I will be on the look-out for a sell-up guy who approached me with suggestions that were not really necessary. My visit was for just a maintenance check - before the winter months. My vehicle has 17,000 miles on it. I do not smoke, I do not carry pets in my vehicle, I drive 6 miles to work each day. The air quality in my vehicle was fine; but I agreed to the replacement of the cabin and engine filters. This guy seemed the type to approach women for the easy sell - I doubt he approached a man who was waiting on his vehicle. Then, he told me the filter would cost $63, until I showed him the Autonation email I received just before he approached me. When he saw the different quote in the email, $52, he so generously agreed to honor That cost. I looked up this item online, and saw they cost only $12! The next day, I learned that I can easily install those myself, and will do so when my mileage reaches 50K! I was also charged $17 for two squirts of a spray into two of my vents that left an oily residue ... wth?! I felt like this guy just used a sleazy tactic on me. I did not appreciate it, and hope this message teaches him to be more respectful and not underestimate people. I was told by the main office that he is a service manager named Sam Steed. Courtney should be promoted to his position because he is more honest and so much better with clients. More
