I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I got to the dealership on time for my appointment. After two hours, I went looking for my service advisor and again couldn't find him. Eventually, he showed up and asked him if my car was ready since it had been 2 hours. He said yes and gave me a list of things that needed to be done. My car had been ready, but he never came to inform me. I received good service my first time, but not this time. I'll have to find a new place to take my car to. More
When I first went in there to say what I want vehicle I put it in writing and specify, I wanted a navigation system and a rear entertainment system along with gray/sliver color of the car with black/darker put it in writing and specify, I wanted a navigation system and a rear entertainment system along with gray/sliver color of the car with black/darker color interior. Those are the things that was most important to me and has to be in this minivan. I made that clear in writing and also plenty of times in person or on the phone. I was told to get those features I would have to get the platinum or limited edition. So okay but I would have to wait sometime because there was a shortage of this model. So I received a call from a manager stating that there was an anniversary edition coming out and it was better than the limited edition. I asked him will get have the navigation system and rear entertainment package he said yes. He then said it was white I said no I will not accept that color he said okay I’ll call and make sure it’s sliver with black inside. So he called back and said he was able to change it. I once again said my navigation system and rear entertainment system is in it. He said yes you’re going to like it. I have this in a text message too stating that I was charged for the rear entertainment system too. They also was much higher then the base price of another dealership which they stated they would match the price if I provide the difference to them they didn’t. They waited until this minivan came in to tell me it didn’t have my rear entertainment system in it because they can’t install it either because this model doesn’t have it as an option because “ it has a sunroof and a lot of wires in the celling etc” but the still charge me for it after they then said oh I’ll give you an owe paper like a iou that they would give me four headrest tv which is much different than an rear entertainment system package that they still leave in the bill and charge me. This was very dishonest , lying and untruth worthy. Along other things. They have all these discussions with me only but my husband decided to be solo one loan we both have very good credit. They only wanted him in the room since he was the one signing and we have both our little kids there too. So he went in the room to sign. They put a base price listed and then put extend warranty listed, they didn’t listed what the add on were when it can to the car where they got that base price listing just threw a whole number which include was much higher than the price of these car compared to an estimate I’ve gotten from another dealership and included this rear entertainment system package. I spoke to the Toyota corporation today also and was told the vehicle was priced much higher than the listing that why it was much higher than the other dealership quote I’ve provided them and they also added accessories such as phone plugs wires and mats to it in which I didn’t know that was charge to me. Corp went over the items that I could of had and I told them yes I have those and I didn’t ask for them they just threw it in without saying that I was paying for it and or if I even wanted it even though those items aren’t exactly on the very higher end they should of been asked. But there Rear entertainment system package.was over $1300 or 1400 it was more somewhere around there or more. Toyota Corp told me I was charge over 8k over the price. Basically, this dealership lied, sneaky and did whatever it took to make a deal. They aren’t trustworthy. They didn’t do good by their customers. I would never recommend this dealership. I’ve always owned/bought new cars from other dealerships and never seen this before in the 43 years of my life or even heard this before from any friends or family members ever happening to them. The service department is always friendly and gets my service completed as quickly as possible. Took 2 plus hours to get my 5000 mile service, which was just a tire rotation! Huge part of my day, and they didn’t even reset my service needed message on the car. Very disappointed.
