xxxxing xxxx Toyota recall over the bright light wiring overheating and possibly causing a fire. I put it off for months Had an appointment scheduled for Friday. I spend $20 on a ratty xxx taxi overheating and possibly causing a fire. I put it off for months Had an appointment scheduled for Friday. I spend $20 on a ratty xxx taxi ride home cuz I didn't want to sit in their uncomfortable waiting room for 3+ hours. I'm home and hour or so later I get a call from Rich, my service person, stating they don't have the replacement parts on hand and asked if I want to leave the truck since I was home or come get it and bring it back at 9am Saturday. I said keep it as long as she's secured. Their shuttle doesn't go beyond 7 miles according to one the other "service hustlers" that works there. I live 8.3 miles away. I spend another $21 on a not so clean Uber to get back. Get my truck and drive to Macon. Spending 7hrs working on moms house, cleaning and packing. It's dark when i leave and thankfully the headlights appear to be working. I pull the light handle towards myself to flash the brights and somethings different about it. A while down the road I push the light handle away from me and No Bright lights. Just regular lights, like nothing happens. So now Monday I've got to go back to Toyota and spend unknown hours waiting for them to fix this new problem. What's wrong with this world and substandard workmanship? More
