My wife and I stated clearly what we were looking for, preferably a new vehicle, commuter that would be good on fuel mileage. After driving several vehicles the sales lady steered us towards a vehicle that met some of the issues my wife mentioned, but none of our key criteria. After a bit of going back and forth my wife and I decided to go ahead and buy it. We have been rather frustrated with the lack of dealerships having any decent new inventory on the lot. We have looked for several months and were tired of coming up against another dealership having limited new vehicles from which to choose. During the closing and financing process we were surprised that the dealerships rates were so high. Usually banks are able to finance at a lower rate than credit unions, and a large institution like Auto Nation should be able to outperform a local credit union. We chose a local credit union as they were able to finance at about 3/4% lower. Our scores are in the 800's so I was expecting better rates. Also during the closing process we let the staff know that we were on a time crunch and had been waiting for an extended period as it was. The financing officer kept trying to push additional services even after we stated several times that we didn't want them. I almost walked out at this point. After finally leaving with the vehicle I found the Toyota Apps to all be disabled and the navigation was turned off. $53k, two hours+ of waiting to close, and the radio wouldn't work. Pretty frustrating. Took a few days to get a response from the saleslady as she was on leave and non checking emails once back in the office. The final straw was after driving it for three weeks and putting four tanks of 91 octane premium fuel in the tank this Toyota Highlander is only getting 21 to 21.7 mpg. It was advertised at 26 around town and 28 highway. I have to commute 5 hrs each way for work. A used Highlander with only 10,000 miles that gets 25% less mileage than advertised? The saleslady had showed us that their price was supposed to be at Kelly bluebook, but when I got home I studied it out and found the average price for a 2022 used Toyota Highlander was only 48k. We are planning on bringing the vehicle back in the next week or two and will be looking for something else. More

I have been going to Matt K. for over 10 yrs. and have the greatest confidence in him. If he says something need to be done, I get it done. I bought a GMC vehicle from Toyota and had some sensor issues that needed to be fixed but it wasn’t going to be covered under the warranty, the GM Bob at Toyota was able to accommodate me and get the part issues that needed to be fixed but it wasn’t going to be covered under the warranty, the GM Bob at Toyota was able to accommodate me and get the part fixed. He was very understanding and I was very appreciative that he went above and beyond to do whatever it took to get the issue fixed so we could enjoy or newly purchased vehicle from them. Jeff is always a great help. I spoke with him prior to my visit and he ordered my tires and made an appointment for me to have them installed. Dropped off my car on the day of appointment, went to get a bite to eat, Jeff called when the car was done, and i picked up. Driving home with my new tires and alignment I felt like it was just driven off the lot! I take my Toyota Highlander ( who I affectionately named Ted) to AutoNation Toyota for all his needs. More
